Alexander P. O. V
I picked Ammy from her home, delighted to see that she is so excited about the trip. It's going to be her first time visiting my hometown which will soon be our home. together. Also, my pack is excited to meet their future Luna. Mother already spread talks about how kind-hearted and beautiful their Luna is, she can't help herself.
I wish the situation would be different, as I planned to take her home with me after she accepted me and my reality and then celebrate that day with my pack by organizing a wedding and her Luna ceremony in which she officially joined our pack.
As per rules darkland is prohibited for visitors but as I found out my mate is no mundane, so she can get the straight pass there.
She was nervous since we boarded our flight. Havi
Amber P. O. V After a refreshing long shower, I changed into my black denim and white comfy crop top which had a picture of a cute puppy printed on it. The room I'm leaving was twice the size of the room back there in my house and decorated well with pink and white. I like it. My hair is still dumped from the shower so I left it cascading around my back, and went downstairs for breakfast. House is basking in the sweet aroma of freshly baked bread making my mouth water. I observed my surroundings while walking to the dining room which directions Alex's mom gave me earlier. This house is bigger than Alex's home back there. And there are more people whom I have yet to meet. I smiled at some while passing them in the hallways and they seemed to be kind as they replied to my smile with their brighter one.
Athen P. O. VIn the morning the first thing that happened to me was what I wasn't expecting at all or maybe somewhere I was aware this was about to happen sooner or later. After finding out the truth about what he was looking for, Dan left the same night. Once again he chose orders over his family. See that was the reason why I hate him from the core of my heart. Because for him our relationship doesn't matter, it's all for show. He never cares about anyone except himself and higher authorities' orders.Anyway, I'm ready to face whatever comes next, I made my decision and I will stick to it till last. I ordered Lynne to get ready as we had to leave at dawn. Capital is at the core of the island. And from my territory, it will take a night to get there by vehicle or 6 hours by running in wolf form. But as you know Lynne is no wolf and she is in her 5 months of p
Daniel P. O. VI have back-to-back meetings today but my mind was wandering there. My head is busting with the thoughts of what will be going on there. The reason behind why I called Alex earlier is not because of his temper, it's because I know my brother very well. I know how stupid he is when it comes to taking responsibility he always jumps first to prove himself but he can't do anything in this matter. It's way beyond him.I tried to talk to Athen also but he didn't let any chance to show his immaturity and talked to me straight. Sometimes he turns into a real jerk and it's one of those moments.Someone knocked on my office door before opening it and making her presence visible. I glared at my secretary who is standing in front of me, her lower lips trembling and she is trying to say something but not dar
Lynne P. O. V I raised her head upwards to meet the dark green gazes questioning me. "I should have thought about the consequences before taking any action but what's done is done. I can't change the past. But I can't let others suffer the earth of my father for my happiness either. If it will be okay with you, can you take me back to my father?" "I will talk with him and try to convince him to retreat his army as I'm taking responsibility of-" I stopped abruptly when Athen jumped on his feet, making the chair fly on the other side of the room."Alpha King, I'm taking full responsibility for the events that happened in my authority. I- A shiver runs down my spine when a dangerous growl breaks through the room. The magnificent desk which once was proudly standing
Bushes shuffled which got my attention to finding a person standing next to me.Who is this lady? I can sense she is not an elf then what she is doing here and how she crossed the borders, why nobody stopped her?She is wearing a blue cloak that covers her petite figure. Her dark hairs are clouding her angelic features."Who are you?" She smirks creepily as her eyes turn red with golden rings in them glittering like gold."You seem to be in big trouble here, little Lynne." She stepped ahead while her cold voice made a chill run down my spine. Her eyes are giving me a sense of trouble. Is she a demon? But their eyes are plain red or white. And from the look of her face, she doesn't seem like a hell creature to me.
Daniel P. O. VI made my way to the opposite side of the club where the staff rooms are located, wanting to drop this annoying female off from me and run to my room to take a refreshing bath and have some drinks before calling it a night.Haider drank over the top, her hands wrapped around my neck and she pressed her face in the crook of my neck, annoying both me and my wolf over the limit.I reached Haider's room and pressed her against me before bent a little down to open her door lock. As the owner of this place I have a master key to all doors. I opened the door and was about to step inside when a sour voice made a comment from behind."Glad to find someone in both of us is going to have fun tonight." my jaw ticked off but I didn't reply and entered the room and safe
Amber P. O. VI was on a call with Dr. Malik when Freya called me, "Ammy dear, we should get going. Alex and William are waiting for us for lunch!"I nodded, and put my phone back in my jeans pocket before strolling back to Alex's family house with Freya accompanying me and a guard named Jaxer falling out of the trail.I tried to talk but he didn't seem interested in friendly talks answering my question with yeah, hmm, or no. Seriously, that's all I get after him trailing through the entire town. And why does Alex think we need protection to roam in his town? People here are so kind and welcoming to me, I did enjoy meeting them.We reached home to found out William (Alex's father) reading some documents sitting in the living room and no sign of Alex. Where he went?
Archi P. O. VLife is not what we pretend to others. Everyone has their reason to put on a mask, pretend to be bitch. It doesn't change what we feel inside but if we let anyone see what we are, it lets them know our weaknesses. Most of the time one of your known backstabs, not your enemies.I made enough mistakes in the past that I ended my account forever. It's indeed a lesson for today and it changes you as well. Some of us might think change is a bad thing but it's not. Change is necessary, you can't make the same mistake over and over and let others make fools of you. It's hard to see through someone. My flight arrives at Delhi airport before the sun comes out of the horizon. It's been almost a year since I left my parents' home and went to live in Mumbai
We were standing in front of the huge arc-shaped rock. This place is ancient as you can tell by the unknown language runes carved on it. This is known as the portal. I'm feeling blessed right now, not knowing from how long we waited for this dream to come true. Today it's finally happening. I nodded toward Ammy to start it. It's a ritual she has to perform, one last thing to do. She placed her hand on the rune engraved as the sign of hand and lit the torch which is well known as the soul key, in the black space of arc. Rays of light took the shape of a huge circle filling the gap between the arc. The sound of gasping filled the background as everyone in this cave looked at the gateway with wet eyes. I can't explain in words what my heart is going through right at this moment. I never felt this before, this is beyond what I can understand, something new found. I ordered the children and females of my clan to become the f
Ammy P. O. V All other voices stopped except the rhythm of water flowing from the fountain and the jingling of the key fighting with air surrounding it. And then it happens, it moves from the prescribed place and flies in my direction. I didn't let my control waiver just a little more and it will be mine. The key is about to reach the glass barrier when suddenly it's frozen in its place. How could it happen? Shit! I got the answer to my questions when I heard a horrible scream and turned to look towards the person from whom it's coming. It was coming from that female guard whose eyes are stuck at the soul key. if I am not wrong so she is controlling the soul key as I did seconds ago. She is using all her powe
The silence here is scary, however, I keep walking to the source of light. I was right, the thing illuminating the whole place is the soul key. It's flying in the air, over the white marble fountain of red water. An orange glow shooting out of it complimenting the bright sun. I slowly open my eyes and this time a visible glass wall from around the fountain and inside standing a woman wearing a red hood, smiling chilling in my way, it raises goosebumps over my skin in anticipation of what's about to come next… "Well, well look what we have here… what's a little human born doing here? Have you lost my dear human?" Her words sound honey-dipped however not in agreement with her sharp features. I let my eyes waver over the woman standing in front of me, taking over
Ammy P. O. V I flinched and pulled myself backward with each step this horrible creature took forward toward me. His dark eyes are getting darker with the anticipation of the hunt, scaring me even more. No matter how hard I tried to deny it, but that's it. I have nowhere to run now. Death is here to embrace me in its darkness, this is my final moment. I dare to let my eyes anticipate the fall I would have to take if I step an inch backward from the heights I am standing at. It's beyond my range if wouldn't for the beast blocking my way. I have just been looking for another way to reach the secret cave in the deep end of the mountain core. It happened in the blink of an eye. In the next second, I tightly shut
Alex P. O. V the sound of thumping is the main cause I forced open my eyes to stop this annoying voice. My head is bursting and with each second this voice magnified itself to the next level. It's fucking annoying. This headache! A loud groan came out of my mouth and I forced open my eyes to take a look at the surroundings I'm in. The rotten smell of iron and dirt entered my nostrils. I can easily recognize it anywhere. It's underground dungeon cell and clinging of the silver bound around my hands and feet are just enough to prove me right. I raised my head from the metal ground beneath me to evaluate my cell and locate 2 guards who were trying to hide themselves as they peeked through from the other sides of the bars. It's hard to not notice their trembling bodies and the way their hands clutch the sword. It ama
Ammy P. O. V What a weird coincidence it is. I'm standing in the same spot from where I started. The same spot from where I started my discovery was the answer to the questions I was looking for. This time I'm not going to be scared, I know the danger involved in it but the reward is worth it too. And I will be grateful if I help all the people here who consider themselves responsible for the crimes that they never had done. If you are thinking I have some epic idea so no you are wrong. I have no plans, no backups, nothing well prepared, but I have that one thing that can help you do whatever you want to do in your life and that is willpower. I'm willing to do this. No, it's no more for the answers I was looking for but it's more for the lives of so many people who showed kindness towards me even thou
Ammy P. O. V The sound of metal lock clicking made contact with my eardrums. In the darkness of a cold cell, even a pin drop noise magnifies to the next level. I snapped my neck in that direction and blinked many times to clear my view to lock at the person entering inside the cell. For my human sight, it's not easy to make out an image in the dark, all I can make out is the silhouette of a tall figure. But it's not enough to tell who this person is. "Who's there?" I asked in confusion when that person didn't utter a word and just stood there observing me from far away. Despite answering my question, loud footsteps moved in my way, making me scrunched back in my seat, in the back of the corner of the cell. Silver l
Ryn P. O. V I begged my father to listen to me, to give us a chance to explain but he didn't listen a single word and ordered his guards to lock me in my room. The relationship between my father and me was limited to our clan business. We are not like normal father-daughter. Even at home we only talked to each other when it related to the clan's work. I don't feel bad about it anymore, I already passed that point and made peace with myself. I was aware of what was going to happen. That's why I had already formed a counter plan to cope with it. If they are thinking I'm going to stay here to cry my eyes out or feel sorry so it's their fault. I jumped on my feet and grabbed my weapons out of the drawer to stuff it in my leather boats. Before I make my way to
Ammy P. O. V Things get messy, the crowd gets afraid to heat up as the minutes pass by. With Ryn out of the picture and a heated argument going on between two Alphas, the room's temperature is pretty much heated. We don't want to make things more complicated. But I don't know how to clear up this misunderstanding. It's hard to break the belief upon which these people have been living here for centuries. If I were in their shoes I would have the same mindset. I can't even imagine the burden each and every one carries here on their souls as Ryn. They all are tagged with the label of prisoner's for the actions which are not done by them. These people keep locked here far away from the normal life that other species of Darkland are enjoying, when these
