CHAPTER 6
ARAMIAH
I froze at the sight of the devil standing before me. My hands completely went numb and I realized my mouth had been open for a long time.
Orion and Zena bowed their heads. They were visibly shaken by Malakai’s sudden appearance.
The beast marched in our direction with so much confidence. He walked like he owned the whole world. Maybe he actually does.
“What's going on here?” His voice thundered as he took more steps forward.
I tried to look him in the eye but I found myself shaking instead. My eyes were transfixed at a spot- definitely not on him.
“Trying to prepare the Luna as you ordered.” The two maids responded in unison like they had been rehearsing to speak at the same time.
I hated the title they kept addressing me with. ‘Luna’.
I have never heard of a Luna who was subjected to so much pain like I was.
Maybe they were also trying to mock me in a way. Maybe they also found joy in my pain. Maybe, just maybe.
What followed next was a moment of silence. For a minute, I felt relieved that the beast was finally out, not until his deep voice reawakened my fears.
“I see…”
He pressed on to where I was, noisily stamping his feet on the tiled floor.
A bright smile played on his lips and it made me question his sanity.
This minute, he's stench-faced with no sign of happiness on his face. Then the next minute, he's beaming with smiles like he just bagged a multi-million contract.
I hated him for that. The realization that he was still in the room with us hit me hard.
“Of course, I like what I see. You both have done well to make her this beautiful.” His face deepened with an even brighter smile.
The maids were not left behind. Stealing a glance at them, I realized that they were also smiling.
They were obviously happy for the fact that Malakai sang their praises.
He was believed to be a god, and as such, his praises should be sung and not the other way round.
So since he decided to honor the maids, their happiness was boundless.
His gaze suddenly fell on me. I tried to avoid his gaze but it was already too late. He had already caught me staring at him.
I shamefully brought down my eyes, unsure of what to say next.
“How about I help to finish up your hairdo?” My heart raced at his suggestion.
I knew he was only trying to make my life more hell. But could he not at least give me some breathing space?
The maidens were no longer smiling. Malakai's voice carried on a kind of tension that could not be explained.
My legs suddenly began to ache badly- a feeling I couldn't explain.
“Leave!” Happiness coursed through my veins as I heard those words. I sprang up to my feet and dashed towards the door.
Before I could move any further, I felt a sharp pain around my wrists. His hand gripped firmly onto my wrist, making it difficult to take another step.
My eyes spelt confusion as I stared back at the firm hands withholding my movement.
Alas! It was no other than my worst nightmare.
I was more confused than I was scared.
“Y..you just told m..m..me to leave. Why then are you holding me back?” I stuttered in fear.
I was still surprised that I could amass such confidence to ask him such a question.
“Oh, no milady.” His voice carried on a serious tone. “I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to the maids instead.”
My jaw dropped. I felt a hint of disappointment and fear course through me.
He turned to face Orion and Zena who were still shaking in abject fear.
“Leave.” He demonstrated with his index finger as he pointed to the door.
They didn't dare keep him waiting. They ran out at the speed of light.
Once again, I was left to face him all alone.
How badly I have always been trying to avoid this moment, but he always finds a way to cage me alone in his grip- every fucking time.
I was tempted to throw a compelling question at him, but my cowardly instincts wouldn't let that happen.
Kai wasted no time. “We meet again.” He said with a mocking laughter. “Trust me, you will never be spared this time around.”
His mean voice did something terrible to my whole being. I froze at a spot as his fingers traveled through my half revealing dress.
He placed one hand on my half-made hair and the other traveling through my dress.
“You look good.” He muttered, rather seriously.
Despite how terrible he had always made me feel, I still found myself smiling at his compliment.
Was that even a compliment?
We both know I was only looking this good because of the announcement.
How I wished I could voice out my pain when it was finally time for me to be crowned Luna.
That would definitely be my end. Malakai would never watch anyone deform his name for any reason.
I had better kept it to myself.
I swallowed hard as his warm fingers ran through my bare skin.
The follicles of hair on my skin responded to every bit of his touch. I almost found it difficult to resist him as I let out a slight moan.
“Please don't. I'm not…”
“Shut the fuck up!” He yelled furiously.
He didn't grant me the privilege to say what was on my mind.
His index finger cut in between my lips. That was a simple indication that he needed no more words from me.
It was hard to obey. I needed to stop him from attempting something stupid. I should have the right to decline him if I was in no mood for romance, but no. I guess I was trapped with him forever.
How long was this even supposed to last for?
He wrapped his right hand firmly around my waist as he dragged me to the bedside.
He threw me violently onto the bed, not even minding if I sustained an injury.
Nothing else mattered to him. All he wanted was to have a good fill.
His ever-ready hands dug into my dress. He didn't bother giving me an order like he did before.
He forcefully slid the dress and rolled it up above my hips.
He waited for no order as he slid my panties to the side. With the same energy, he held onto me firmly with one hand while he pulled his pants with the other.
He finally succeeded in getting rid of the pants.
My hair became an even greater mess as he tried to pin me onto the bed.
I struggled to let loose from his grip but all that was a waste of my little energy- the beast was stronger than me in all ramifications.
“Argh!” He let out a little groan as his dick finally found its way into my wet pussy.
He held the bed frame for support, while his other hand clung firmly to my neck. He was literally choking the living daylights out of me.
I was totally helpless at this point. He finally succeeded in getting me all to himself.
I cried faintly and bit hard on my lips.
His hard dick coursed through me. I had a mix of feelings as he fucked me recklessly.
I felt pain because of his large dick size and how careless he was riding me. Then there was a soothing feeling as he reduced his pace.
He was undoubtedly a beast - not only in action, but also in sex.
He fucked me for what seemed like eternity. The worst thing about him was the fact that he showed no sign of fatigue.
He would definitely spend the whole day on top of me if he was granted the opportunity.
Kai jolted out of my legs all of a sudden. Taking a closer look at him, I discovered a thick whitish substance around the sheets. His cum!
The fuck! Why did he pull out in that manner? My mind was unsettled as different questions kept flooding in.
“It's not yet time for this.” He hopped out of bed and headed for his pants. He threw a white napkin towel at me. “Clean yourself up with that and join us in the hall.”
He walked out before I could process what he just said.
What did I just hear him say? Hall? It better not be what I'm thinking.
Where did he expect me to begin from? My hair was now a mess all because of him. My dress - also a total mess!
How was I supposed to present myself before the people this way?
Amidst my confusion, I knew I needed to get something done quickly, if not I'd end up receiving an even greater torture from him.
I sprang into action.
I managed to pack my hair into a little ponytail, making use of the mirror as a guide.
All of a sudden, I began to hear footsteps. It grew louder each second.
My heart raced with fear.
CHAPTER 7ARAMIAHMy heart sank in fear as the thought of being faced with that beast once again engulfed me. I quickly took cognizance of my environment. I was still half-naked. I dabbed the little droplets of tears on my face, hoping not to be barged in on by anyone, let alone Kai.My mind was relieved to some extent when the sound of the footsteps suddenly stopped. Silence engulfed the whole place.I hurriedly adjusted my dress and headed towards the door. I was barely an inch away when a loud knock drew me out of my reverie.Fear engulfed me once again.‘No..no… it better not be him. What do I do?’ I asked myself, but there was no response.I took a quick glance at myself through the standing mirror and I was slightly satisfied by my look.I headed towards the door, ready to face whatever or whoever was at the door.Luckily, the person was patient enough to pause for a while before returning a second bang on the door.I scurried towards the door hastily. The noise at the door gr
CHAPTER 8ARAMIAHMy eyes collided with that of the host as soon as I got to the stage. He took a step backwards. “Have this.” He handed a microphone to me.I was now the center of attraction. All eyes fixed on me as I gripped the microphone out of the host's hands. My hands shook slightly. At this point, I was more tense than I had ever been. The crowd was not helping matters. Their expressions spelt confusion and they wouldn't turn their eyes elsewhere. They preferred to fix them on me as long as I remained on the stage.I never amassed the courage to look Malakai in the eyes. I was certain that he would not only be confused by what was happening on stage, but he would also be infuriated by my silence. If not because of any other person, Kai was my worst motivation to say something - just a word. But what was I ever going to say? The host was yet to explain anything to me.“Princess Miah, kindly introduce yourself to these people seated here. Everyone is getting impatient already.
CHAPTER 9MALAKAIIf there was one word I could classify Aramiah with, then it would be dumb.I could figure out that she wasn't moved by any of my words. I was never saying those words to gain her favor either. All I was trying to do was to buy the minds of my people, and fair enough, they believed everything I said. I mean, with the loud ovation and cheers, I could tell that I was making waves with my words.“We are strongly behind you, Alpha Kai.” I heard a familiar voice say behind me.Turning back, I saw the host grinning with eyes. He was undoubtedly overwhelmed with happiness.Who wouldn't be?The crowd didn't stop cheering me either. They were the greatest pillars of support anyone could wish for.“All hail the Alpha! All hail the Luna! May your reign be long and fruitful.” Those were their words of proclamation. I couldn't be more fulfilled than this.Despite their unending praises, all my mind was on Aramiah. She will have no choice but to yell my name by the time I get dow
CHAPTER 10ARAMIAHI was speechless. Each word that came out of Malakai's lips sounded like a threat.I knew I was in for a long ride when he had suddenly appeared from nowhere as I tried to escape. Malakai gave me no breathing space. Was I ever going to come out of this cage of a pack? All hopes suddenly seemed lost.My uncle and aunt must be rejoicing wherever they were, for succeeding in leading me to my doom.At this point, they were the least of my troubles. All I could think of was how to set myself free from this bondage.“Have you suddenly gone deaf?” I heard his voice echo behind me. I had forgotten so quickly that he was still in the room with me.I froze instantly as I felt his hand rest on my shoulders. “I'm definitely going to make your stay here a miserable one. You will suffer slowly and beg me to take you in as my lowest maids.” He giggled in a wicked tone. “Oh! What am I even saying? My maids are definitely better than you.”Those words broke me in pieces. Comparin
CHAPTER ONEARAMIAHAramiah Vernon, the princess without a wolf. Or you could call me what all the others did. Pathetic.Useless. Worthless. You could also call me the child of woe— to add a little bit of spice to the undying ridicule. I wasn't different from a speck of dust, or one out of ten thousand leaves on a tree.Ordinary wasn't quite the word to place me because ordinary could mean good, but all my life? Bad was the only word I'd been nurtured. It hovered over me like the darkest shadows. The sky was heavy with promises of rainfall, and I walked faster, feeling the cool wind on my face.It was the first day of the new month, and I was filled with so much happiness as I walked happily to my Azareth's house— my mate.It had been two full moons since I discovered that Azareth was my fated mate. Not only that, he was the only man who ever made me feel like I mattered. I'd been stuck in the shadows for so many years that finding Azareth was the best thing that happened to me. My g
CHAPTER TWO.ARAMIAH Was it the alcohol? I still couldn't believe it, and I tried so hard to deny the surge that built within me. It was a killing connection, the kind that comes with unapologetic force.A feeling of pure ecstasy and passionate electricity. I breathed through my mouth, unable to contain it. My legs had given up work, and I had no control over my feelings.I knew the person that just came in wasn't Azareth, and his aura was exceedingly different from Azareth's by a ton. This person had the feel of heaven and command mixed in one, a presence that commanded nothing short of respect. My aunt and uncle were immediately intimidated by his presence; while I sat on the cold floor like the failure I felt like—Help. Me.Our pack was second to none, and my uncle wasn't a man to be belittled in command either. His fierceness and cruelty had earned him that position, so the only next person who could have him on his toes was—No way. No freaking way. That name was a myth, and
CHAPTER THREEMALAKAI.It had been a long time since I've had to carry a woman. I mean, one that was still breathing. It wasn't a scene I was familiar with, so I had to train my temper to match the mood. It wasn't every day I got to buy a true blood from her parents. "Let me go!" Her body quaked against mine as I headed to the carriage with her frail body hanging over my shoulders. I could still feel my cheeks tingling from the impact of her drunken pinch, and it still begged the question, was she a broken product? This child wasn't the first, but I did hope she was the last.My wolf consented to it. She had the right body and frame, not to mention— she was my mate. I didn't buy it. Wolf connections were stupid bonds to tie a person's logic. Nothing more, it was as fragile as they come.Though my wolf begged to differ, I hauled her into the carriage and dumped her there. "Please!" Her desperate voice cried out again, expression distorted from useless crying. "I'm…not the one you wa
CHAPTER FOURARAMIAH."Strip," He ordered in a harsh tone, his eyes glued to my dress. "Take off every bit of it."My hand reflectively went around my shoulders, and I tried to step away from him, hitting the hard wall instead. I winced and slid to the floor, unsure what to do next. "W-what?" I asked, stunned, or at least pretending to be. Anything to buy me time. What did he mean by strip? Like, get naked? Me?"Are you deaf, Princess?" Malakai crouched to my level, his elbows resting on his thighs as he leaned a little closer. His hands trailed my chin, down to my neck, and my breathing stifled. "You have nothing to be afraid of."I couldn't understand it, or maybe English wasn't my language anymore, or there was another meaning behind the word he'd just said. I looked up at his hovering figure, and the grin on his face made my skin prickle with bumps.Followed by an electrifying shiver that slid all the way down my back. I even felt it in my legs. Unease built up in the depth of m
