Chapter 5

Flora appeared before Hannah and she gestured for her to come to sit beside her, Flora went to sit gently beside the woman. 

"What's your name, beauiful?" Hannah questioned. 

"My name is Flora, ma," Flora answered. 

"You can call me hannah," Hanna said with a broad smile. The look on her face was so affectionate. Like a grandmother looking at her granddaughter. 

"Alright, ma," Flora said. 

"I know you feel nervous that you got married to him, but Orville is a very good man," Hannah said. 

"He's a good man!" Flora exclaimed. 

"Yes, I have lived with his family for fifteen years so I can tell you that he's such a good man," Hannah said. 

"I guess I'm lucky then, although there are articles about him that says he's a good and kind man but I find it too good to be true, many billionaires are always aloof and arrogant," Flora said. 

"There are few that are really nice, one of them is Orville. I do hope that the both of you will really get along." Hannah said. 

"We should, I'll be careful around him so there won't be any problem between us," Flora said. 

"Great, can I prepare food for you?" She asked. 

"Yes but I can help you in the kitchen," Flora said. 

"No..." Hannah smiled," just wait for me at the dinning, I'll soon be done with the food. What should I prepare for you?" Hannah questioned. 

"Maybe fried rice," she answered and they both walked out. 

Hannah walked straight to the kitchen while Flora went to sit at the dinning table.

When it was late at night, Flora had showered and was laying on the bed. She was nervous since this would be her first night with a man. 

If eventually the man had sex with her, he would find out she was not a virgin. How does she explain to him that she lost her virginity to surrogacy?

She sighed heavily, he had said he won't force her to do anything , she would have felt much better if they didn't have sex this night. 

The door opened gently and orville appeared, he had a smile on his face," sweetheart, " he called and checked  his wrist watch," this is ten minutes after 11PM. I thought you would have slept?" 

Flora adjusted from her sleeping position into a sitting position and said," Erm...I don't sleep early." 

"Okay, you can lay back dear, I want to shower," Orville said and walked inside the bathroom. 

While he was there, Flora placed her right hand on her chest that was thumping inexplicably. 

Soon, Orville was done showering. 

Orville walked inside the room and wore a white bathrobe after which he laid gently on the bed. 

Although Flora's eyes were closed, Orville could tell that she was not sleeping. 

Flora was expecting a hand to touch her as Orville's first move in his attempt to have sex with her this night but after many minutes had passed without feeling a thing, she fluttered her eyes opened and turned her head only to see Orville laying with his eyes closed. 

Was he asleep? Flora wondered. 

Won't he make any move this night? Flora thought. Or did he plan on making the move in the middle of the night? 

Flora thought for about forty five minutes and when she reasoned that Orville must have slept, she shut her eyes and soon fell asleep. 

The early sun shone directly from the window and scattered it's ray across Flora's face, she fluttered her eyes opened but didn't see Orville beside her anymore. 

She gazed at the time and saw that the time was 7:21AM. She doesn't sleep so late like this, maybe she slept so sound because of a better environment that she slept this night. 

She checked herself to be sure that orville didn't have sex with her and she confirmed that she wasn't touched. 

She heaved  a sigh of relief and sat upright, she stretched her body and went to brush her teeth then wash her face with water before going back to lay on the bed. 

Seems as if things are about to change for her. She used to wake up by 6AM every day so she can get dressed for her brother, take him to school before going to her school. 

And on Saturdays and sundays, she had to wake up at the same time to cook for her herself and her brother before resuming work early by 7AM. 

She placed her two hands on two different pillows as she laid with her chest to the bed, her two legs were spread leisurely. She laid carelessly thinking that Orville had gone out for work. 

Afterall, he was a billionaire who had lot of companies. 

But she jumped up into a sitting position when she heard the door creaked open gently. 

He was surprised to see Orville carrying a tray containing cake  in his hand and a drink. 

"Good money, princess," Orville greeted calmly and went beside her, "I made a little research about you and found out you love cake. This morning, I decided to prepare a cake and a tea for you. I hope you like it?" 

Flora felt like this has to be a dream. A billionaire serving her food? Is that even possible? 

She pinched herself to come back from her fantasy but when she saw Orville chuckled slightly , she realized this was a reality. 

Even if it was a fantasy, she would like to be in this fantasy forever. 

"Thank you," Flora wanted to carry the tray from him but Orville spoke up. 

"You can simply pick the cake and the cup of tea, that's just snacks, Hanna is already preparing breakfast for the both of us, " he smiled. 

Flora picked the cake carefully and then the tea," thank you, Orville." 

"You are welcome, sweetheart," Orville stood and went away with the tray. 

It was only after Flora was done eating the cake and tea that Orville walked in. 

"Did you love it?" Orville asked. 

"Yes, it's delicious, thank you." She said. 

"I had a dream about us when we were asleep, did you want to know what this dream is?" Orville asked. 

Flora became curious and asked ," yes, tell me." 

"I dreamt that we did a wedding ceremony and it was very great," Orville said and Flora blushed. 

Orville added," I also dreamt that we had a twin." 

Flora was forced to blush and giggle, she reasoned that Orville only wanted to engage her in a conversation, those dreams were just his fantasy.
