CHAPTER 2 ~ Auctioned Off

MELIA'S POV

Right after Donnie fainted, Eric and I lover continued our act. We both know each other and didn't bother to look at the unconscious body of Donnie. I am his lover Melia, I am the werewolf princess of the Moonstone pack, and I think Eric is my mate. So we have been seeing each other behind Donnie's back.

Eric had always wanted to get rid of Donnie but he didn't know how to go about it. According to him, he lost interest in her long ago and felt like he never really got attracted to her. He was just with her for a reason and she has been bluntly refusing to let him do it. But then, he's found his mate as he is a werewolf too. That mate is me.

He says liked her scent at first and that made him approach her, but when he met me, everything changed and totally lost interest in Donnie. We finished making love and dressed up. We both sat on the bed staring at Donnie's almost lifeless body on the floor. She suffered a great shock that could kill her but I am less concerned. Eric is mine and shd should back off.

"What do we do with her? I can't stand seeing her around you anymore." I asked him.

He shook his head, "I can't stand seeing her more than you do. Why don't we auction her off at the party tonight?"

I nodded in agreement, "You know, that sounds like a great plan because why not? We don't get to lose anything. She becomes slave to whoever buys her. We get the money and also get rid of her."

"Killing two birds with one stone."

"I couldn't have agreed more. You are such a genius Eric." I kissed him.

His eyes went dark. "We just finished another round, do you want us to go again?"

"No you silly. We have to prepare for tonight. We should make sure she stays unconscious the whole time so it would be easier to get rid of her." I declined.

"Fine. I'll go get a tranquilizer and inject it into her." He said and walked out of the room.

I scoffed at Donnie's body and kicked her a bit, I muttered, "Bitch."

Can't wait to see her gone.

*********The Party**********

We did go to the party to auction her off. While other people were being auctioned off at normal prices, it reached Donnie's turn and things were slightly different. Everyone wanted her, she looked so beautiful I won't deny. The prices went up until one person gave a price that no one else could give.

"Five million dollars." He said from the crowd.

Everyone turned to look at him in shock, how can someone buy just a person for such a high amount of money? Most people recognize him immediately, of course he's rich enough to do that. This is Alpha Damon of the Ace Pack. He's one of the richest and strongest werewolves known. Everyone except for Donnie knows him, Donnie's the only one oblivious of the werewolf world. I know him so well, my brother doesn't like him.

Eric and I were excited seeing that we got the highest amount of money for Donnie. We don't care why that man was so desperate for her, we are more interested in the money. Though I am a bit curious.

"Alpha Damon of all people wants her? I'm shocked but then this is good news." I whispered to Eric.

"Who cares why he wants her? He is willing to pay so much for her so we should just take the money and leave. We can go on a vacation after this." Eric whispered back.

I nodded, "I know right? This is so exciting. Alpha Damon is the strictest and she may never survive with him. Either way, she's out of our lives for good."

"Isn't he enemies with your pack?" Eric asked me.

I nodded again, "Yes, my brother attacked him a few months ago. Who cares? I get all that money from selling a pest like her, that's more important. I should probably pay a visit home."

We both smiled evilly at each other and faced front again. No one else wanted to bid again, the whole place was silent.

"Sold." The auctioneer said.

Finally, some cool cash. I'm so damn lucky.

DAMON'S POV

Whatever pushed me here tonight is a good thing, I finally found her. I can't let anyone else buy her, she's mine.

Everyone continued to whisper to each other, while I and my Beta Hale knew why I bought her. We left the party with her immediately and drove back home to the pack. On our way home, I kept looking at her face with a heavy heart. I have mixed feelings and don't know what to do next.

"I found you, I'm never letting you out of my sight again." I said, still looking at her.

Beta Hale was driving the car, he looked at how I was treating her who was still unconscious.

"Do you think she is the one my Lord? I feel like this is a different person." He asked as he feels this woman hit differently.

Though she does look like the one I was looking for, he wasn't sure she's the old version of the one that's missing. That's what I read in his mind.

"What do you think? My wolf identified her as my mate already. She looks the same, she has the same necklace and the scent is clear. How can I be wrong about this? She's my fucking mate!" I yelled out of frustration.

I have been feeling unhappy and frustrated the past few months. I didn't think I would be seeing my mate whom I love so much again. I have mixed feelings of excitement and doubt. Her scent wasn't this strong before she went missing and my wolf has always suggested that this is not my mate. Now my wolf is screaming mate, which is quite confusing to me.

"I am sorry if what I said is offensive. I won't repeat it again, I trust your judgment my Lord." Hale apologized to me.

"It's okay. I may have overreacted. What's most important now is that I found her. I will do anything to bring things back to how they were before."

The car stopped at the huge mansion of the pack leader, my residence where there are lots of guards and workers. Hale offered carrying her but I wanted to carry her by myself. I carried her to my bedroom and laid her there, then I called his doctor to examine and treat her.

I sat down beside her watching her all night. I couldn't help but wonder where she was brought from and why Melia wanted to sell her. I would focus on her getting better first before finding out what really happened to her the past few months, and what connections she has with my enemy pack.
