Athena's POV

As Ardolf entered the bedroom, his unkempt appearance a direct opposite with the elegance of the room, he looked at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Hey there, ready for some hunting with the boys? We could use your skills out there," he said, a smirk playing on his lips.

I raised an eyebrow, a hint of arrogance in my voice. "I'm afraid I have more important matters to attend to than associating myself with a bunch of rogues like you."

Ardolf chuckled, his laughter echoing in the room. "Oh, come on now. Whether you like it or not, you're one of us now. Embrace it."

Ignoring his words, I made my way to the balcony, craving the solace of the night air. I lit a cigarette, the smoke swirling around me as I tried to calm my racing thoughts.

Just then, my phone rang, breaking the silence. I glanced at the caller ID and saw Mia's name flashing on the screen. Answering the call, I could hear the urgency in her voice.

"Mia, what's going on?" I asked, a sense of foreboding
