Alpha Axel's POV

I walked into the dimly lit study where my Beta, Daniel, was waiting for me. He looked up as I entered, his expression serious.

"Daniel, have you heard anything about Ardolf?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

Daniel shook his head. "He's still in the dungeons, Your Highness. Waiting for his fate to be decided."

I frowned, feeling a pang of guilt at the thought of Ardolf locked away in a cell. "When do you think I should execute him?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Daniel hesitated before answering. "That is up to you, Your Highness. But I would advise you to make a decision soon. The longer he stays alive, the more dangerous he becomes."

I nodded, knowing he was right. "I need to confirm something with my mother first," I said, turning to leave the room.

I made my way to my mother's chambers and knocked on the door. She opened it, looking surprised to see me.

"Mother, I need to talk to you about something important," I said, stepping inside.
