"Alpha Kaden, when all the preparation are made, you will be summoned for the crowning" Sanders informed my mate, the other councilman gathered behind Sanders.

We were currently about to leave the palace. I take a final look at the lovely place but my heart is not saddened that I did not get to properly explore the place, because I know Kaden and I would be back soon.

Kaden and the councilman Sanders exchanged a few words, then Sanders bow slightly at us and the other councilmen did the same thing, Kaden acknowledged the gesture with a nod while I gave a soft smile.

The palace was finally out of view before I felt like everything that had occurred in the last three days was nothing but a dream and I had just woken up.

It was a good distraction from everything, now I was going back to the pack, there was still someone after my life, Ciara was still dead and we had no idea whatsoever who was behind all of it and Tamara might be plotting something, so a war

A glimpse into the past . . . Twenty six years ago... "The mate dance is in three weeks, you will finally get to meet your mate Tamara" Sahara said, looking at her little sister "This whole thing is just weird to me, what if I do not want what the moon goddess has chosen for me" Tamara whined. She has never believed in the moon goddess crazy idea of forcing two strangers together. "The moon goddess makes no mistake" Sahara said. "Then how come you are yet to find your mate. Have you thought of the possibility that your mate might not even exist, maybe he is dead, does that mean you will spend your whole life alone and wondering why you could not get happiness" Tamara reasoned with feistiness in her words. "Tamara—you really should not think that way. Look Reina is happy with her mate" Sahara reasoned as well, her little sister was too wild and she feared that her wild nature might cause harm to her. "Reina looks delusional to me. Don't worry, I will be ready for the mat

The Alpha Queen . . . "Williams is Neal's son," I gasped as Tamara concluded her story. Tamara gritted her teeth before confirming my suspicions, "Yes, he is." "Does he know?" I asked curiously. Maybe I was trying to find a reason why Williams had turned out like this. She laughed, "Why do you think he is doing all this?" "What?" I was confused. "You are wrong, Tamara. You caused all this," a strong feminine voice came from the shadows. "Do you think I don't know that, mother?" Tamara snapped. Mother! Mother! My mind screamed. I thought I was alone in the dungeons. If this is Tamara's mother, then this is the Alpha Queen, the missing queen. What was she doing here? Was Williams responsible for abducting his grandmother, the queen? Was he also responsible for killing the king? "I knew your wild nature would yield bad results. Look at yourself, Tamara. You have birthed a monster, a child that has done this to his own grandmother, a son that kills his grandfather, a son that

  • Alpha’s Kaden Second mate   Sins of the father

The Sins of the Father . . . It is funny how life changes in a single second, one moment you are at the top of the world , in rainbows and sunshine and the next day in a twinkle of an eye everything comes crashing down like a collapsed building, it would have been different if my misfortune were to have been caused by my own hands but rather it wasn't, and it hurts to suffer because I was the spawn of the so called enemy, I was simply paying for a crime I did not commit, the Sins of the father are passed on to the sons or rather in my case, unto the daughter. I once treasured the home that brought me peace and joy, the home of my birth, the home where I had all my memories, the home where I was among the people I belong with , the home of my family, the home of my pack, my clan and now this home had become my personal prison, a nightmare, a cage where I have been cast into and a place where I was now treated like a piece of trash, less than a werewolf of my birthright, and less t

    2. The Wolves Talk .… "Look, I brought her in one piece as usual," the guard said with a sickening smirk on his face as he threw me across the room until I landed on the tiled floor of the pack house kitchen. I imagined how I looked, laying helpless on the kitchen floor, drained of life and light. But these people could care less about how I looked or how I felt. They have made that known to me countless times over the past three years. It's strange how circumstances can reveal people's true feelings towards you. Those who stay with you in both good times and bad times are your true friends. The quick betrayal of the Redsand pack baffled me. They turned against me in the blink of an eye, even though they weren't directly involved in the wrongs committed. It was as if they had a hidden rage before the tragedy, and that event triggered a chain reaction that brought about my suffering. "Good, Sean! You sure took your damn good time," the kitchen head, Vera, spat as she stared at me in

A little freedom . . I was sent back to the dungeons after I finished the day's work, after I finished with serving in the halls I was assigned to the cleaning of the kitchen which had been my normal job in the kitchen to begin with. All the while I was doing my chores Vera had this joyful smile drawn across her slightly wrinkled face as she watched me slave away my bones, I was sure there and then that the whole serving fiasco was all her idea, her idea to make herself feel good and to make me feel the worst of myself than I already felt and sadly she had succeeded, watching them in that pack hall taught me lot of lessons but the one that stuck out the most was that their lives were going perfectly well, all the pack members were living their best lives, they were happy while I was living a life of suffering and torment. After I had finished with the kitchen, I proceeded with cleaning and moping of the pack house all by myself, the pack house was over three-story building with

  • Alpha’s Kaden Second mate   Two Days and three nights Part Two

Two Days and three nights Part Two . . . As I stood at the edge of the vast forest clearing, my senses were overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of the unfamiliar Alpha King burial ceremony. The air was thick with an aura of solemnity and reverence, as if the very trees whispered secrets of ancient rituals. Beside me stood Kaden, my mate and now the heir to the werewolf throne. His presence offered a reassuring anchor amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces, his hand clasping mine tightly, providing both strength and solace. We had traveled from our own pack for a meeting to deliberate on the King's death and the Queen's disappearance but here we are now paying our respects to the fallen werewolf king whose murderer was still unknown , though he was a monarch I had never met but he was one whose legacy loomed large in the hearts of his subjects and Kaden's as well , this king was his uncle after all, and this King reign was a one without war, that was something to really be proud of.

  • Alpha’s Kaden Second mate   Two days and three nights part one

Two days and Three nights Part One . . . The dancing rays of the morning sun illuminates into the skin of my closed eyes causing me to open my eyes due to the discomfort. I sat up immediately noticing that Kaden was not by my side, I was about to call out to him when he stepped out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist and another he used to dry off his presently washed hair. "You are awake, I wanted you to sleep in more" his husky voice reaches my ears sending excitement all around my body. The floral scent of the hair shampoo mixed with his woody scent causing more excitement that I can't even find the perfect words to describe how my body was feeling even if I tried. I realized that this is the first time I am seeing him partially naked in the daytime, with all the glory of the sun illuminating into his skin and on his toned abs and arms, I was shamelessly ogling at him, I knew that and he definitely knew as well, evidence was that a mischievous smirk had sprea

The King's Choice . . . "What!" Luna Tamara immediately jumped off her seat "Our father, the king did not inform us of this" "Sit down Tamara" Sahara finally spoke in a calm manner, Sahara and Tamara did have a lot of similarities that they could even pass as twins, they were both blonde haired like Diana and had striking jaw features, they were both beautiful, lean and tall. Tamara head immediately snapped in her direction at her sister's statement, she was definitely not expecting her sister to speak up, and at least against her. "This has nothing to do with you, you have no son!" Luna Tamara spat as if to torture her if what she lacked. A smile spread across Sahara face, surprising me, and maybe everyone else in the room. "You are mistaken" she said proudly "W-what?" Tamara stuttered, my eyes widened in shock, so did Kaden, no one was expecting that for sure. "I do have a son Tamara, he turns ten next month" Sahara declared in complete and full pride knocking the air
