Chapter 44

Friday morning, Anna had to wake up as early as six to brew coffee and make breakfast for her and Alma who was probably in her bed snoring.

She had to visit the bank to get a loan. Hopefully, if things were on her side, she'd be granted one and then go ahead to start making greatness. She already searched online for medium sized offices in San Francisco in case she was granted a loan. Everything was set. Capital would be the trigger to set off her bullet to its destination.

She made coffee and prepared pasta for later in the day when she'd be back and fried eggs to make a toast with bread that morning and stashed it below the sink in a cupboard to keep it warm before hurrying to the only bathroom in the house to take a shower. Minutes later, she was out. She padded carefully across the hallway to her room to avoid a repeat of last week's fall.
