Chapter 34

Location: Grenalia

Harold was inside his chambers. Seated on his king-like chair he sipped from a large jar of old wine with a somewhat unsettled look on his face like someone who had just received bad news or in his case...waiting to receive one.

Marcus should have done what he sent him to do by now, Harold thought within but he wondered why he was taking a rather long time for him to pay him a visit?

There is a bit of a part in him that wishes not to see the face of Marcus today because that would mean his son Josep still lives which is so unlikely as Marcus had never failed him before.

Josef is dead for sure and Harold couldn't help but moan a little for his only child but he knew he had to do what he did if he was to accomplish all his dreams, especially the one of being ruler of Grenalia and the whole world at large.
