DEATH ENCOMPASSES ALL

PLAINS JUST OUTSIDE GRENALIA, BATTLE BETWEEN THE VAMPIRES AND HUMANS.

The screams and cries of dying and injured soldiers could be heard from across the length and breadth of the battlefield.

Troops rallied, clashed and died as every inch of land was taken and retaken by blood and steel.

"Men, show no mercy to the Vampire scum!" Jurgen yelled at his troops as he hacked into a trio of vampires that beset him.

The vampires were blessed with supernatural speed but Jurgen's long years of wars and intense combat training had sharpened his senses to a knife's edge.

The High Marshall fought with a vicious precision and calculation of his enemies every move, compensating for his lack of speed with his agility that would put a panther to shame.

The vampires slashed at Jurgen with their longswords but Jurgen parried the attack and kicked one of the attackers in the groin.

As the vampire who he had struck reeled back in pain, Jurgen turned his attention to the second attack
