Wendy took Anna's hand and pulled her towards the stairs. Anna followed, her heart at the pit of her stomach.

Lucian, as early as nine in the morning had been awoken by a body jumping on him.

He sat up immediately and pushed the intruder off him with irritation evident on his face.

"What are you doing here uninvited?" He questioned, making sure she didn't miss the tone of irritation that coated his voice.

A shrug. "I came for the festival."

Lucian was getting angrier. Everything about her annoyed him, especially the too feminine voice she faked. "The festival isn't till next Tuesday and it's a universal festival, meaning it can be celebrated in every pack worldwide."

The lady pouted and sat up in his bed. She bent and picked up her handbag lying across the floor of his room. Unzipping the bag, she fished out a card. An invitation card.

"This." She shoved into his face. Lucian opened it and read it's contents.
