68. Qoute your amount and let me have your body!

The night seemed to have grown utterly silent. Not even would the air roll by. It was the same silence the grieved people sense before the burial of their loved ones in a graveyard. Peter's loud breathing echoed inside his car as he accelerated at high speed, thinking about Aurora.

His lips twisted in desire. He was unable to think of anything else other than her. Now finally he could make her his. She had always been in his mind as long as Damien returned from abroad three years ago. It was since then he knew he had to have her.

It was a far off dream though and she was a princess from the same dream. Because Damien would never let any male come around her let alone go near her.

But now his desire was finally going to be fulfilled. Not in a good way, but his plan worked out. All he could think was about her. Her eyes. Her lips. Her face. He

    69. No saviour for her?Alpha Damien's forehead creased as he peered up in the sky at the clear gray clouds. There was no sight of the moon visible. Sky was just like his life. Empty without his moon, his Aura. The crimson tiredness of his eyes seem to intensify. He was totally exhausted and frustrated from within; and to top his fury, his guards have still not been able to trace Aura's whereabouts.Every call he received, every message that dropped by, every person that met him by the four-way circle he was standing at with his car, he just got one answer— She was still not located."Damn it!" With anger and fear inclining, he slapped the hood of his car as he glared at a guard standing across him totally terrified. "Do I employ you for nothing? You can't even find out where my Aura is."The guard lowered his head. "Apologies, Alpha. We have checked all possible CCTV footage

    70. Her saviour's here."Damien will not come, baby. You are at mercy." He grinned darkly. Was that so obvious on her face that she was yearning for the father of the baby to come over? She wriggled out of his hold and moved away. Her heart was a beating mess while her sweaty palms slipped across the body of the tree as she moved backwards."However, all it takes is one night. Just let me have you for once and I shall let you go unharmed with your illegitimate baby." He said dryly. His eyes mocking her. "And if I am satisfied enough then who knows I might just shower you with some of my blessings and fill your empty pockets with some bucks for your services."That sounded exactly like Damien's words. Aura was stunned as tears of miserability dribbled in chains. She gulped a lump of hardship and with all her energy that was left, she stung his cheek with a mind-boggling slap.&n

    71. A new morning"Aura, don't worry. Aura, I am here. I am here for you." His own shoulders trembled.Alpha Damien was relieved to have found her. His tears of joy streamed down his eyes in an indefinite trail. She was finally here in front of him.Aura refused to react, much less look up at his face and show her own comfort, but he was aware of her emotions. He had pained her beyond any measured limits. He deserved this from her.And to top her grieving memories of this night, Peter Dursley appeared before her. Oh yes, PETER Dursley! The mastermind behind this unfortunate night.Alpha Damien let go of her as he howled advancing ahead with menacing respiration. That hollow in his chest somewhat shrunk when he saw her run and he had frozen in his spot. It hit his heart strongly and intensely when she was knocked and dragged like an object.

  • Alpha's Housekeeper    72. Allow me your leave, Alpha.

    72. Allow me your leave, Alpha.Alpha Damien's POVI have never felt so weak even after being the strongest in my whole life. In front of Aura, I felt as little as a thief. She hiccuped loudly. Each sob tearing me apart. She was affected by my presence and tried with all her might to avoid me around her.I couldn't go. Even if I wished I could. Even if it meant to give her some peace and not humiliate her by having any hopes of getting back together with her.I just couldn't... I wouldn't. Because deep down, I was aware that she craved to come to me— in my arms and back into the shelter of warm protection I had kept her cocooned all these years. Back to the mansion that's been our house all these years."I know I have no excuse left that can justify my irrationality. I've done the worst I could with you." She shook in Rosario's arms as my voice buzzed, going closer even if he

    73. A lie that could be dangerous Aurora's POV Shimmering rays of the bright sun highlighted my skin as I stood under the open sky. Soft breeze was tickling my skin and I was attempting to catch a dragonfly in front of a glistening pond dancing with natural glitters filled by the sun on the surface of water. "Thank you so much for bringing me here, Rose." I chuckled seeing Rosario's twist zip together and his eyes narrow. He doesn't like that name. He says it's girlish— thus not a good nickname for a hot Frenchman like him. "You know you can't call me that, Aurora." He stood beside me as I resumed jumping in order to catch that little dragon with transparent wings. Not a dozen or two, they were in hundreds. Thousands… maybe. With eyes colourful as a prism, glowed whenever a dragonfly stopped across my face as if to analyze me before it soared higher, out of my reach. Their thinner body seemed like a black needle attached to a dancing prism shaped as a circle whereas their tra

Without any hesitation he circled his arm around her waist and leaned ahead to join their foreheads.“I knew that you would come for me for you still love me.” He possessively pulled her to his chest and inhaled her scent.Aurora was in a state of shock. With eyes filling with tears, she gulped a breath as she grazed his face with her panic stricken face. How could she not come? She was scared to death and somewhere blamed herself for the accident. For the accident which never took place. She was so frightened that she felt her head spinning when the car halted before the hospital. The news could have impacted her body and put the life of her baby at risk. There is a reason why doctors ask families to keep depressive news hidden from pregnant women. But

  • Alpha's Housekeeper    75. Their reunion.... Is it!

    75. Their reunion.... Is it! Alpha Damien expected a destructive reaction from Aurora when he'd heard Rosario's silly plan that afternoon over the call. He's said it'll be a failure but the Frenchman asked him to give it a try. They shared the same academy hence they were familiar with Rosario's such plans. They also worked many times. So Alpha Damien couldn't turn him down. He has tried several ways to convince Aura to crack the wall of resistance she's created around her— but oh, she proved why he was badly in love with her. She was different from other women. Aura didn't let his charm work magic on her and that's why he had to say a yes to Rosario's weird plan. "Get away," Having Aurora cradled protective in his strong arms, he led her to the ambulance that was called for him. He had been fully focused on his driving even if a part of him was off mood

    76. Lovebirds flying back homeAlpha Damien was sobbing quietly in the dark, relieved that no one would witness him there. He thought he was able to hide in the veil of darkness and save himself from anyone's scrutiny when his soft hand came on his cheek."Damien" She murmured while her melting eyes spilled some liquid. His head was facing the ground. He refused to look up even though she attempted. Damien was internally broken and no matter what his little delicate Aura did couldn't bring him out of his despair."I shouldn't have come here." He spoke, making her clench her jaw.She inhaled his scent along with air and tried not to pour her frustration on him for saying that. Only she was aware of the dread she breathed in the air after that news. Aurora prayed to see him unharmed and here he was. She also prayed to forget everything and give him a chance.

    127. The Goodbye (last chapter) Eight months later, Under the cool shadow of blooming cherry blossom trees, Aura sat on a mat as she tossed grapes in her mouth. She enjoyed the burbling of shimmery water in the nearby pond. With birds chiming gaily, gazelles roaming freely, colorful butterflies and dragonflies fluttering excitedly in the air, and a colony of rabbits and squirrels jumping and running around them, she fancied the sight of her eight months old daughter crawling on the soft bed of grasses and small flowers alongside their new family member, Venice. He was a month old baby dog Brian bought for Anna. A new friend whom she could play and grow up with. Initially Venice was scared in his new house as he was bought from the owner of his mother. The man could not afford to raise three golden retriever babies hence he gave them away. When Brian was offered one, he instantly accepted him for he was going to be Anna's first ever friend. "Anna, no! Come back here at once." Aur

    126. Is Damien going to die?! "Damien, a-are you okay?" It was a silly question, but she was not really in her senses. His blood and reducing breaths took away her patience and whatever patience she had had, now turned into pain. Pure, raw, and escalating pain. Behind her back, Peter laughed, "You didn't come here, Alpha Damien, I summoned you, so I could kill you with my own hands. It would have been no fun to fuck your already fucked up wh*re or kill your vulnerable daughter who is anyways helpless without her mother. The worst I could do to you is kill you… and leave your mate and daughter miserable for the rest of their lives. Your death during the best phase of your life is the biggest and filthiest punishment you could get. You wouldn't be there to see your daughter grow up. Your wh*re will be available for other powerful males, not including that she would move on with another wealthy man after your demise, after some months of weeping in your memory. Your pack will be overt

    125. You didn't come here. You were summoned, Alpha Damien. "Da-damien," The one and only name she's been chanting since her abduction quivered on the tip of her tongue. The fog of fear subsided, leaving her with ever so clear vision. She restlessly looked behind her back only to melt on the ground and take a sigh of relief, "Y-you came. You finally came to save us, Damien." Aura's heart throbbed in her chest for her husband was here in his ever so intense glory. There was a bow in his arms and a holder of an arrow put around his left shoulder, as it hung slantingly, resting on his back. His eyes glowed no less than enraged sun as his tightly set jaw twisted in anger. Many more footsteps thudded around her. She saw a troop of armed men coming inside through the front. It was her husband's army. All dressed up in black with holsters put on, hands carrying huge guns and a look of vengeance on their faces. Alongside their Alpha, they shot the enemy's army dead. She could not take her

    124. Don't hurt my daughter in the name of revenge! A wheezing wind rolled over, making Aura's teeth clutter. She stared down in the middle of the room on the ground at her screaming daughter and forgot it was necessary to breathe for survival. That moment, all that she saw was Anna throwing her legs and arms in the air. She was dressed in a pink thin frock that shifted under her little back, leaving her little legs exposed to the cool ground. She was not wearing her socks either. "Don't hurt her, bastard." Aura banged her fists on Peter's chest and bicep. She used all her strength to hit him but the devil didn't budge for a second. He just cracked up louder and held her by her elbow, refraining her from going to her daughter. "You see that, Aurora? You see that? That's what real weakness looks like." He pointed at her daughter and then towards the dogs around her. They were desperately breathing, the noise invading Aura's ears like a warning buzz. "I want you to see it w

    123. Damien, where are you? Aura's POV "Damien, where are you?! I am scared and cold. Please… come soon." I looked around the room and crawled closer to the bed, shrinking away in the gap between the bedside table and bed. My knees were against my chest as I cowered away from the menacing door glaring back at me in the dark. I should have listened to my heart. I should have paid attention to the crumpling feeling in my chest. I should have convinced Damien to stay back in the mansion. Only if I had not been swept away by Damien's advances, we would have been safe under the protection of our house. "My daughter," It was hard to breathe as my stomach bottomed out. The room was cool yet my skin was clammy, my body was a trembling mess and eyes weeping silently. "Anna, my baby! Oh that I never left you behind me in the mansion." My hands clenched tighter around my knees as I recalled Anna's heavy screams. Peter said that he would kill my daughter in front of my eyes on the wa

My head instantly looked around at the men so I could pick the sobbing one out. But everyone was vulnerably breathing and their red eyes told a different story. A story I wouldn't like to hear. As I was looking around everyone, I heard my beta, his voice poorly choking, "They breached… the mansion. Th-they shot Madam Martha and another nanny who was looking after Anna and took her away."No. No. No. Please… this was not true. It can't be. It's just… I found my place next to Brian as we both wept together. This was a dream. It had to be a bad dream because I was so happy in the morning. Everything was perfect and clean. 121. Alpha's agony Alpha Damien's POV 'Damien…' 'Damien…' Agonizing screams hurt my head. I could see Aura being dragged away towards a tornado. It was whirling crazily and she cried, her hair bouncing all over her face. My mate. My darling. She was wearing a torn dress. Rather ripped aggressively. There were bruises on her bare arms and a blood trail cascading down her exposed legs. She looked vulnerable. Tortured beyond repair. Her lips were inflated and a puncture in the corner of her lip bled. 'Damien, help me. Save me from that beast. Don't let me go, Damien. Please…' She was held by the hair and dragged ruthlessly. Aura. My respectful Luna was in the clutches of a black shadow. I couldn't see much as my eyes were blurry. But whatever it was… it's caused harm to my Aura, and only meant to worsen her physical condition. 'Don't let me slip away, Damien. Please… please…' She held her hand out and yelled my name louder. 120. I told you I'll have her in my bed! Coming out of the car under the shelter of an Umbrella, they admired the rain and the silvery trails coming harshly on the ground. Damien's one arm was around her shoulder and one holding the umbrella. He loved this place for its simplicity. But looking at Aura's face, he can say she was not very happy. Her nose was creased and her eyes tentatively stared through mist and a heavy shower trail."I don't see any arrangements?" Aura raised her head to meet his eyes.Indeed there was nothing, for this place was an empty piece of land. Yet, what one sees must not be used to draw a final conclusion."Come on, I'll show you." Stretching his lips into a grin, he led themselves ahead.Aura's gown was completely drenched from the edge. There was dirt in her stilettos and she couldn't walk properly any longer. It was her good luck that Damien was walking by her side, or else she would have already collapsed. Much worse, she could have twisted her ankles

    119. A menacing date night In the mansion, Aura stared out at the gray army of clouds as they wailed and stormily poured over the horizon. Placing a hand on the glass of the window, she felt the iciness creep into her palm. The rain was frosty and every drop plummeted like a bullet on the grass of bed. "Why is it raining so aggressively today?" She looked up at the sky that's draped the whole world in a blanket of fog. As long as her eyes could see, there was only pallidness. She never liked rains like these. This reminded her of that terrifying night when Damien misunderstood her and threw her out of the mansion, after accusing her of cheating on him. Goosebumps spread over her skin. Aura rubbed her arms and walked away. She no longer wished to look into the gray eyes of the sky and feel vulnerable. Pulling the curtains over the windows, she returned to her bed and sat down near the cot of her daughter. 'My heart throbs restlessly inside my chest. Why?' Taking a look at her
