Chapter Ninety - Nine

MAX'S POV

I grabbed his hand and placed it back on the table, pressing the sharp blade against the third finger.

"What do you say?" I asked.

The wolf said nothing, his eyes darkening as he watched the blade go deeper, pressing against his veins as blood began to gush out.

"I'll ask for the last time, Who sent you, and why are you here?" i asked again.

I picked up a small bowl filled with wolfsbane and water. I Immersed the blade in the water and then took it out, pressing the blade into the spot that was already open.

The wolf's eyes widened as pain filled his nostril, and then he couldn't breathe. The pain shot through his entire being, and he could only stay still.

"I can help you." I began. "But that depends on how you act. I hate when people disappoint me. And you'll have to tell me everything you know." I raised a brow to see if the wolf had any questions.

The wolf shook his head, unable to make a sound.
