CHAPTER 94

MILA

While Arthur and Rah went ahead to the forest, Mila waited patiently. She didn’t know what was going on back in the Collins kingdom but she dreaded her return.

As the day progressed, the wait for Mila grew unbearable. So, she summoned Osho – who had agreed to visit her in her chambers so that she could be herself and talk freely without the risk of enchanting anyone.

“My lady,” Osho bowed humbly as he entered.

“Please close the door, Osho,” Mila replied from a corner. This corner was covered with curtains that allowed help and maids to come into Mila’s room. Every time someone knocked, Mila would hide behind the curtains, and as days passed, Mila had been spending a lot of time in this corner alone.

“You made a mistake, Mila Daniels - Sharpe - Collins,” Osho spoke pointedly as he closed the door shut, giving them privacy.

“Mistake?” Mila spoke as she stepped out of her corner and looked at him curiously.

“By giving Arthur what you hold most dear,” Osho replied.
