ARTHUR & MILA

“What is happening?” a voice boomed. “Is someone there?”

Smack!

“Who was that?” another man shouted.

Thud!

“Everyone get down,” someone ordered and Mila recognized the voice of Raul Collins.

“Stand and fight,” another voice boomed and Mila did not recognize it at all. She assumed it would be of someone from Keplins’ clan army.

Smiling at herself, and hoping most of the Collins soldiers were on the ground, she raised her hands and sent a rippling wave of her power at the chest level of average human height.

By the sound of it, a lot of bodies fell on the ground, some hit the prison cells, some on top of each other.

Wondering how many enemies were still standing, she put up a shield around her and illuminated the cell. As all the torches were ablaze again, people – who were still standing – looked around in shock.
