CHAPTER 109

ARTHUR & MILA

As Mila stirred and came through, she realized she was in a prison cell.

Four guards were standing outside the prison door and all looked exceptionally worried. They even looked terribly scared as they kept on giving her shifty looks. She didn’t know what Raul Collins, aka Arthur’s father told them, but she was sure he had asked them to guard her…

And she didn’t know what he gave her, but it was definitely some kind of deadly poison.

Mila tried to think, and call out to Arthur but she felt resistance, not from his side but from Grace’s side. Grace was weak, she was ill. It was her who was affected most by the poison.

‘Wolfsbane,’ Mila muttered to herself as she tried to sit up, but the effect of the wolfsbane was still in her body.

“Sana” she muttered as she clutched her chest and felt the pain alleviate slightly. She repeated the process for a while, on her chest a few times, on her stomach, on her head and by the time – what felt like hundredth to her – she was f
