“Father!” Arthur exclaimed, feeling appalled.
“When you are of my age, you will understand. This filth,” he spat at the floor, “woman nothing more than a beggar, can never be your queen!”
It was perhaps the repetition of the words ‘filth’ and ‘beggar’ that triggered Arthur, as he said, “Mila is a werewolf, father, like us. She is an alpha already. She is ruling the former Keats kingdom, and very successfully. She is,” he inhaled heavily, “of a pure bloodline. Of a powerful ancestry, and is a true alpha!”
His father took a step back at these words.
“True alpha?” his father whispered in shock. “Which clan does she belong to? And if she is a wolf, an alpha already, why was she living in that filthy hut?” his father demanded.
“Mila show him,” Arthur ordered and Mila understood what he was asking.
