The Search with the Hermits

Elsewhere in the woods, a large pack of wolves rushed on past the trees. Some fairly exhausted as they pushed themselves to keep moving, others far too tired... they were getting far behind their group or tripping on their feet. All in all, they seemed to be suffering as they ran.

"Keep moving, all of you! Do not dare stop until we find that stray!" Steve ordered his men, rushing on ahead of the grand majority with a couple others. They who looked back and were worried about their people, as opposed to their Beta.

"Beta Steve, I know how much you want to find Ellie, but you really need to-"

"To what? Slow down?" Steve interrupted with a snarl. "Never, Raymond! Not when the werewolf I love is suffering because of her!"

"But look at the state of our people! You know how horrible it's been these days for them. If you keep pushing them like this, they will collapse, and that will not be good for both our group's morale and for what will remain of our pack. Much less for the Alpha."
