CHAPTER 4

CHAPTER 4: I'm Here

BLAIR 

Aunt Carolina won't be home for one week for some reason. And am I sad? Of course! 

Not! 

I grinned widely while I was staring at my own reflection on the mirror. 

Freedom! At last! I'm going to have it for one week! Isn't great?! Part of me is sad, and of course, I will miss my Aunt Carolina. But...it's just for one week anyway. It won't hurt me to be away from her for the following days. 

The only thing is.... 

I don't know how to cook. But, I can always go to the mortal world and eat there! The foods in my world are the best! But, I doubt if Aunt Carolina will let me go there, though. She won't almost let me out here, more so, in the mortal world where I used to live. 

When I was done fixing myself, I immediately got out from my room and go straightly to the living room. I saw her fixing her things before putting it inside her luggage. 

Does she really have to bring a luggage with her? I mean, she can always do magic. Tch. She can just magic the things that she needs. 

"Aunt..." I called her using my sad voice. Ha! As if! 

She then, turned to me dryly. I pouted. She knows that I am just pretending to be sad when in fact, I am happy inside.

"Behave. And please, don't ever do something that will resort me in locking you up in the dungeon down there." She raised her brow at me. "You don't like it, do you? It's dark in there so behave." she added sternly.

I sighed. 

Of course. If there's something that I'm really scared of, that's being locked up inside a dark room or something. That's my nightmare. I might be tough at everything but I won't be able to endure too much darkness. 

"Fine. But you'll let me out, right? Outside the house?" I showed her my puppy eyes which she just glared in return.

"I know you can handle yourself well. I just have to remind you that...when you're out, trust no one, Blair." She knows that I can handle myself well but won't let me out of the house?! Really?!

"You're always saying that to me, Aunt. There's no way in hell that I will forget about that." I said, because that's the truth. She said that she knows that everything is inevitable, and everything will really happen for a reason. If it's meant to happen, then, it will happen, eventually, no matter how hard you stop it from happening. 

And there's this one thing that I should really be careful of. To not trust anyone...easily. Because outside, there are only two types of creatures at the end of the day no matter what differences we all have in form. It would be, the trustworthy that can be your ally, and the traitor who'll stab you countless of times again and again. 

That's what she told me. Always. And I do believe her. 

"I'm going to tell that to you over and over again if you'll continue to be hardheaded. One day, Blair, one day, you'll really regret escaping the house and using the mouse trap on me." She glared at me. Her white orbs glowed in silver as if she's trying to insinuate something to me. 

I raised my brow. I'm confused but I didn't bother on asking. 

She only sighed before kissing my forehead. 

"Be very careful, Blair. I won't leave you here if this isn't an emergency, but I have to. I just wished for you to behave, and if something happens, you already know what to do." she then carried her luggage. Before she could even go out from the house. She turned to me one more time. "I'll leave Herberus with you. He'll be my eyes while I'm away." she added before turning her back and in just one snap, she disappeared like a bubble in the thin air. 

Remind me why do we have a door again if she's just going to use her magic?! 

Formality, Blair. The door's for formality. 

Tch.

She should really teach me how to teleport too. 

I smiled to myself before going inside my room. I changed into a crop top and a denim short before fixing the axe on my back. I tied my hair in high ponytail before making my way outside. 

I was so near on the barricade when the stupid dog appeared in front of me. He's a dog but I can still see his deep frown!

"Herberus! I'll just check the river inside the forest. I wanna take a dip." 

Herberus groaned but I still continue to walk anyway. He can't stop me so he just followed like a loyal dog that he is. 

I smirked. 

When I finally arrived at the calm and peaceful river inside the forest. I immediately strip myself, 'till I was left with nothing but my bra and underwear. It's a good thing that I'm wearing the matching colors today. I left my clothes and my axe on a huge rock before jumping in the water. 

"Ahh..." I moaned when I felt the cold water sipped through my skin. I closed my eyes tightly before diving. 

This is what you call freedom! Hallelujah! 

I just hope that Aunt Carolina won't be back for two weeks so I can still prolong and enjoy my vacation here in the river. 

"Herberus! Just stay there!" I shouted when he barked. I frowned at the black dog. Aunt Carolina isn't here to kill my enjoyment, but she left her stupid dog here. Really? Tch. 

I dived and dived 'till I was completely satisfied and just let myself float on the water. 

The chirping of the bird is what makes it more beautiful. I can stay here for days 'till I'm sate. But I don't think I'll be tired of this scene. This is what I love to see the most. The shining sun is really clear in here. I think that this is the only part of the forest where the sun can freely beam without the trees butting in. 

I closed my eyes with a smile on my face, feeling the satisfaction that's washing over me. But it ended when I heard a loud splash somewhere behind me. 

I was fast to get on my feet before turning to the direction where the loud splash came from. 

I narrowed my eyes. 

Is it Herberus?! 

"Herberus! Herbie! The fvck?! Where are you?!" My heart thumped loudly. If Herberus is gone...My God! I will be fvcking killed by my Aunt Carolina! 

"Herbe-fvck!" I cursed loudly when I felt a pair of strong arms surrounded my waist. 

"Stop shouting, baby..." I was completely shocked when someone caged me with its embrace from behind. And judging from its built, it's a man! No! It's a dog! It's the dog! 

"Get. Off. Me!" I shrieked in panic. I tried kicking off his legs but he won't budge! For real! I know I am strong! But why am I starting to be weakened by his touch?! 

He didn't listen at my loud and angry shout. Instead, he pushed me impossibly more closer to him. 

My eyes completely widened when I felt something hard poking my butt! 

And I am not that innocent to not know what it was! 

Of-fvcking-course! It was his dick! And I already want to faint at how huge it feels behind me!
