Chapter 196

Unknown POV

They looked around as they walked into the hall. It was a fairly large hall, a room with empty tables and chairs which was scantily filled.

They secretly looked at each other. They were five in numbers, all dressed alike. At the far end of the building sat a man who looked impatiently at the incoming guest or members. They could be members, who knows? The others who surrounded the man in a high seat, occupied themselves with something, in their surroundings.

They got to the man after what felt like eternity, they bowed as they took their seat in the empty space around the table.

They all sang a chant-like song in a stiff position which was weird. It seemed like a cult but it wasn't or so I guess.

"Do we always have to do this when we gather like this?" Alpha Cornelius asked, obviously not comfortable with the chant and the handshakes after reciting the needful.

"It is necessary because we need to know our anthem! If we the leaders don't know our anthem, what do you expect
