#Chapter 32 (Deonna) Hideaway

It’s been days since Marlon had come to this building and saved me from that disgusting nobleman. I felt a chill down my spine just thinking about that man’s hands touching my body. That rancid and smelly scent of his breath against my ear. I could see the pure evil in his eyes.

Marlon was amazing when he saved me. I didn’t think he was capable of actually killing somebody for me. I still don’t fully understand why he would go to such lengths to keep me alive. After he killed that man, he hid his body while I cleaned the blood.

Then we had sex.

I hadn’t seen him since that but I’m assuming he doesn’t want anyone being suspicious as to why he was spending so much time in this shack.

I shouldn’t even call it a shack, just because it was small like one. It was much nicer than a shack; it had an actual bed and lighting. He kept it warm when it was cold out and cold when it was warm out. He even had a small crib made for Mateo, which Mateo loved.
