Levy didn’t believe that she was being confined in the lodge like this but there was nothing that she could do, she would have of course liked to go against Logan but something about the look in his eyes told her that she would indeed be punished greatly if she was to sneak out of the territory, so she has been on her best of behaviour allowing Ryan to bring her in and out of the territory and other than that she has stayed in the lodge reading books that Logan has brought for her.

She tried her best to stay put for three days but on the fourth day, she started feeling a bit antsy. After reading the books that were left by her mother, she noticed a very peculiar thing—— her mother liked to highlight the name of the most common magical herbs and sometimes she would underline an entire sentence that made no sense when read separately.

Of course, highlighting and underlining were simple habits when reading a book but her instincts told her that there was more to what she could see and
