Kane's POV We keep talking in circles, trying to find a solution to the problems we’re facing. After two hours, I call it quits. Our reprieve is over. All I had to do these last few months was to check in on our businesses, but Patrick is a fast learner, and all I need to do these days is go over contracts to sign them, or take the occasional call from a business partner who doesn’t want to deal with anyone else but me.
