Chapter 4

Hanna’s POV

I can’t believe what he’s just said. 

“Lilly?” I haven’t felt her presence since our mates marked me, all three of them! I don’t get a response but assume that maybe she is just tired. 

“Um, what’s your name?” I should've asked sooner but I was pretty preoccupied. 

“Byron, I apologize for not introducing myself sooner.” I giggle and go to get up to go to the bathroom. He holds me still and looks at me sadly. I wonder what I did to make him so sad. Was I not very good? Was he going to reject me?

“You can’t get up yet, the doctor needs to take a look at you first.” The doctor? 

“Why? I’m a little sore but isn’t that normal? I mean you are huge… and that was my f..first time. My friends all said they were a little sore afterwards.” He goes to speak but there is a knock at the door. 

“Enter.” I felt his Alpha aura affect me slightly, though not directed at me it was strong. Kane and Gabe come in followed by another man. The man walks in and sets a bag next to the bed. 

“Wait, do all of them have to be in here?” I’m not sure why but I don’t want anyone but Byron right now. I blush but look away from Gabe and Kane.

“Of course not, your privacy has not changed even if they are your mates.” Byron starts moving to leave, I grab his arm and shake my head. I look at Gabe and Kane, I feel a pang of guilt when I see the look on their faces. I wanted to reassure them, but I didn't know what to say, so they left the room without saying anything. 

The doctor moves the blankets and lifts the giant shirt I’m wearing. His shock is evident. 

“What, what's wrong?” Byron looks down and turns pale. My stomach feels queasy.

 “One of you better tell me what is wrong right now!” I start to feel the panic and vile rise in my throat. 

“You have torn, I’m not sure how bad. You have mostly healed now. Incredible. Most she wolves are not able to heal this particular part. It’s why we still have a waiting period before resuming sexual activities after having a pup. Everything will be fully healed by tomorrow morning.” I feel better, but why could I heal that if no one else could? 

“So I’m fine to get up?” The doctor laughs. 

“Yes you are fine to get up. Just take it easy, and NO sex until tomorrow afternoon.” He looked at Byron when he said this, making my giggle, and him blush. I thank the doctor and get out of bed to go to the bathroom. 

When I came back out Gabe and Kane were back in the room, still looking dejected. Gabe was holding a tray with food on it. Kane walked up to me and grabbed my hand, raising it and pressing a kiss to my fingers. He guided me to the couch that was by the window. Gabe set the tray in front of me and turned to leave.

“Please don’t go anywhere. I just felt shy in front of so many of you. Are you eating too?” Kanes' eyes turned a dark gray, but only for a moment, turning back to the normal silver.

“We weren’t sure that you would want us here. We can go get ours and come back.” I felt bad for kicking them out now.

 “I would really like that. Where did Byron go?” 

Kanes POV

“Please don’t go anywhere. I just felt shy in front of so many of you. Are you eating too?” SHY? In Front of her mates! Oh but not Byron!

 “He was here when she woke up. She’s still naive. His pup is in her right now, she’s going to want him no matter what. When she has our pup it will be the same way. Plus he marked her first.” I relaxed as Hunter made some very valid points. 

“We weren’t sure that you would want us here. We can go get ours and come back.” She looked sad about that. 

“I would really like that. Where did Byron go?” Oh so she was just sad because Byron wasn’t here. 

“He had to go, he already had a challenge scheduled for today. Canceling would be the same as losing.” I watch her face change from sad to confused. She sure didn’t hide any of her feelings.

“A challenge? Aren’t you Alpha?” Oh shit. She didn't know that all three of us were Alpha. 

“No, I am an Alpha of this pack, so is Gage. Byron is Alfa of this pack as well, but he is also Alpha of all Alphas…” I watch her process this information. 

“Wait… You guys are the triplet Alphas? I know you guys look almost identical. How did I miss that? Holy fuck! I just fucked a king. I had three Alphas in me. I told you to Fuck me… I feel mortified.” Her whole face turned red as she realized what was actually happening. 

“How do people not know that we were the Triplet Alphas? I thought that was widely known along with the fact that we are the strongest and largest pack?” I ask Gabe through our link. 

“People do know, if they didn’t they wouldn’t constantly challenge Byron. There is no way her pack didn’t know of us, their pack borders ours. Maybe her father ordered everyone to not tell her. She seemed to know that we were the top tier pack, but not of us precisely. Something is wrong with that. Why would he do that?” Gabe makes so many good points, like he usually does. I’m confused as I walk down to grab dinner for the rest of us. 

Byron comes through the back door, covered in blood and dirt. I look at him, he smirks and shakes his head.

 “All these Alphas… He brought his Luna to and I quote, watch him take me down. The poor girl was a crying mess by the time he bared his neck to me.” Laughing he walks down the hall to a spare room. I laugh as I finish gathering food and take it back up to Byron's room. When I get into the room, Hanna is crying. 

“What is wrong Hanna? Hey, whatever it is, I'm sure we can figure it out.” Hanna hiccups and looks from Gabe to me.

“Byron is going to reject me, you all are aren't you?” What the hell? “No we are not going to reject you, why would you think that?” I look at Gabe as he is just sitting there like a jackass instead of comforting our mate. 

“Because I can’t have sex until tomorrow. I probably did a bad job anyway, and my body isn’t good enough for three Alphas. And Byron is never coming back, I’m revolting to him, how could a King be interested in me. And I can’t give you anything, I need your help. You guys need nothing from me. I’m garbage.” She cries, yells, then cries some more. Fuck.

“Get your Fucking ass up here now!” I mind linked to Byron. I hear footsteps coming up the stairs knowing it’s Byron. I move so that he can sit next to Hanna. He burst into the room only wearing shorts. I watch Hanna as she gets up and runs to Byron. She grabs onto his arm and cries at him.

 “Kane said you aren't going to, but you are going to reject me aren’t you?” Byron looks at me in confusion, raising his other hand then pulling her close and kissing the top of her head. 

“What the hell is going on Kane?” I am perplexed but Hunter spoke. “She is with pup, and without her completing the mate bond, her emotions will run wild. Lilly has retreated to rest. She needs to mark us all to feel more secure. I think our mate may have been emotionally abused.” Byron looks pissed, he grabs Hanna and carries her back over to the couch and sits with her on his lap. Byron looks at me motioning me to come over.

 I go to one of their sides, and Gabe moves to the other side. I grab Hannas face and kiss her. I pull away, ending our kiss. She stopped crying looking around at all of us. She moans as Byron sucks on his mark. 

“You need to mark us, love.” Gabe says while running his hands up her arms. She looks at me with a questioning gaze. 

“Alphas… Kane, can I… can I mark you first?” I was shocked that she wouldn’t want to mark Byron first. 

“You can mark whoever you want to doll.” She gazes at Byron and Gabe, then pulls her attention back to me. She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me with a feverish need. She moves her kisses up my jaw and down my neck to the spot her mark will go. She licks my neck and kisses it again. She nips at my neck, then she presses her canines into my flesh. I moan as I feel our mate bond snap fully in place. She licks the wound sealing her mark.

 She kisses me once more. She then grabs Gabe next, marking him much the same way. She turns on Byron's lap straddling him. She marks him. I feel our bond grow stronger as she completed marking us all. 

“Did you guys feel our bond get stronger?” I ask both Byron and Gabe over our link. 

“Yes.” They both answer at the same time.
