Chapter 12

Becca’s POV

I was distracted in my thoughts, Jake catching me again brought me out of them.

“So how is being carried across sounding now?” I nodded my head but to my surprise it was Jay who grabbed me and carried me the rest of the way across. I wonder if Jake had the same reaction to touching me and that was why he didn’t want to carry me across. When we reached the other side, Jay set me down and handed me my shoes. I didn’t even realize that he had grabbed them.
