It was a pleasant day, not too hot and not too cold. Just the kind of day that the lonewolf loved. She was a loner. And she loved to spend time with herself.
The wind swept the caramel strands of her hair onto her face and her bar of chocolate as she brought it close to her mouth.
"Damn it!" Noelle Moore cursed as she picked the hair stuck to her bar of Hershey's Cookies 'N' Creme, feeling nauseated by the blood flowing into her head. Still, she decided that she was most comfortable in her current position, hanging from a tree branch; her legs buckled on the branch the only thing keeping her from falling and breaking her neck.
"So sleepy.." She pouted to herself. She hung there, contemplating whether she should take a nap in that position or not. She looked down at the ground, embedded with shiny grey rocks. An unfortunate way to die.
'Maybe I should skip the nap.' She sighed to herself.
"Oh, Noelle!!" Her sharp ears picked up the distant annoying voice of her good friend, Samuel followed by the scents of her other fellow rogue friends; Kade, Jordan, Ashton, and Benjamin. What did they want?
Her wolf growled in her head. "I don't want to socialize right now."
Noelle rolled her eyes as she held her chocolate in her mouth, swinging forward, holding the branch with one hand and the tree trunk with another, letting go and taking her chocolate from between her sharp teeth only when she was sure she was fully balanced.
And I, my little black fur ball, don't want to socialize ever. She told her wolf who growled again in warning, "I am not little!"
Noelle's wolf was smaller than the average female wolf, owing to the fact that she was only half a wolf, the other half a fragile human who died giving birth to her. But she was faster, more aggressive, and calculative. In her seven years of rogue life, not once had she been hit by a silver bullet or injected with wolfbane. Of course, she had got scratched, bit or almost torn to pieces but she always managed to escape, and the wolf healing made sure she had not one scar.
Noelle's lips curled up in a devious grin as she watched her undoubting friends reach the foot of the tree she was perched on.
"Where is she?" Jordan wondered out loud, ruffling her coal black pixie cut, highlighted in purple at the tips. "Her scent is everywhere."
Well, that might have had something to do with the dancing she did around the woods pretending to be a lady in a period drama.
Noelle decided that Ashton was her target. After all, he was the most annoying one of them all.
"Heads up!" Noelle called as she jumped down, landing on Ashton and tripping him backward in the process. She laughed as she got back up on her feet, taking another bite of her chocolate.
She turned around and smiled smugly at the guy who was sitting up, patting the dirt off his arm.
"Noelle!" Samuel hugged her from behind which she happily accepted.
Samuel was her favorite person in the whole wide world and she had a crush on him until she found out that he was gay and then he later on found his mate, Ashton, Noelle's least favorite person for obvious and petty reasons.
"We need your help girlie." Kade moved forward, standing next to his mate, Jordan.
"With?" Noelle flipped her hair, knowing exactly what they needed help with. There was only one thing they ever needed her help with.

Noelle smiled at the receptionist flirtatiously, biting her lower lip which she had overlined with bright red lip gloss as she leaned onto the desk, giving him a generous view of her cleavage, all the while twirling a few strands of her hair between her fingers. This was a game she was a master at.
She had changed from her usual hoodie and shorts combo to a red V-necked dress, pairing it with nude heels. She travelled with a huge bag of essentials which was now hidden inside a hollow tree stump in the woods.
She always carried them around, because she had learned pretty early in her life that men's brains were between their legs and a generous display of sexiness was all it took to get her whatever she wanted.
"To what do I owe the honor of having such a lovely lady stay at our humble motel?"
She quirked an eyebrow. Had the sleaze ball swallowed a Jane Austin for breakfast or something?
"Bianca." She sensuously forwarded her hand, cringing at the condition of his nails. She made a note to herself to wash her hands as soon as she got into a room, lest she catch some disease.
"Chris." He blurted out, shaking as he held the hands of the little minx.
"I want a room." She cooed. "But I am not sure how long I will be here."
"You can stay as long as you want," Chris said, dazed.
"How much should I pay in advance?" Noelle asked, her voice low and husky.
"You don't need to."
Chris handed over a key to the neatest room in the motel, the only one with both the geyser and air conditioner working.
The business was slow until nighttime when couples visited the cheap motel to tend to their carnal needs.
The man had seen several people come over and over again with different partners. And he kept tabs. He made money off of it. It was his side business.
So what if he lost the customer? He was paid the kind of shush money that he wouldn't make if that person visited him every day. And the luckiest part of this business was that no one ratted him out. Because people wanted others to suffer the way they did.
And since not many were going to check in at this time of the day, he made it his topmost priority to cater to the needs of his new guest. Any kind of needs.
As he stood there, leaning on the front desk, imagining the things he would like to do to the goddess staying at room number seventeen, the desk phone rang and the call was from the same room.
His heartbeat picked up and his little friend twitched in his pants.
He cleared his throat before he picked it up. "Yes ma'am?"
"Busy?" Her voice was as seductive as it could be.
"N-not at all." He was too excited.
It was the first time such a goddess had visited his motel, that too alone, and she had called him.
"Wanna come up?"
Of course, he agreed, with no shame or hesitance.
"I will be right up." He was about to put the phone down when she added,
"You have any toys you could bring with you?"
.
.
.
Noelle took her sweet time walking over to the door, opening it ever so slowly and revealing herself to the sleazeball.
He gulped visibly as she licked the chocolate off her finger, sucking on it. The Hershey's kisses she had brought with her solely for this purpose. Okay, maybe not solely.
"Come in." She purred as she held on to the door.
The man walked in, internally thanking the heavens for such luck.
'His member is pretty big.' Noelle chuckled lowly as her wolf growled, "Don't even think about it."
Noelle closed the door and pressed her back against it as the human watched, his lustful eyes roaming her face, legs, and chest.
"Strip." She commanded and the man placed the dildo, condoms, and handcuffs on the nightstand and did as asked, excited for the kinky fuck he had imagined. "And lie down on the bed."
When she got him where she wanted him, she straddled his waist and the man groaned as his little friend rubbed against the vixen's butt through the rough fabric of her skimpy dress.
Noelle leaned closer to his face, his foul breath fanning hers, and brought his arms up, cuffing them together, the chain trapped between rods on the headrest.
The man looked up, his excitement visible in the sweat on his forehead, the hike in his heart rate, and the dilation of his pupils.
"Close your eyes." She whispered. "And open your mouth wide."
She reached out for the dildo. She wanted to suck it and give him a show but she wasn't taking any risk after where all it could have been before. She got straight down to business, plunging the pink sex toy into his mouth, all the way to the back of his throat, gagging him.
His eyes shot open and welled up with tears as he choked a bit before he could breathe again.
"See ya," Noelle smirked as she hopped off the bed and gathered his clothes. Chris wriggled on the bed, kicking with his free legs but to no avail.
Noelle locked the door behind her and tossed the clothes and key out the nearest window.

______________________ . . . Skipping down the stairs, she grinned as she found all the cameras hidden away switched off. "Well done Ben." She chuckled lowly and she knew that her friend had heard her. "That was some show right there," Jordan said as they joined her, Kade counting the bills. "Something you can never do." Benjamin teased the tomboy and commented. "I can't believe he has cameras installed inside the rooms." "Gimme my share and I am out!" Noelle whistled as the group of rogues walked into the forest. The nap she earlier wanted was calling out to her again and she also wanted to get away from her friends before their scent rubbed off on her and their enemies too started tracking her. "We have seven thousand dollars and six of us," Kade said as he finished counting. "Give me a thousand and you guys take a thousand two hundred each." Noelle shrugged. "I think you deserve more of the share," Ashton said, a sweet smile on his face. Despite the fact that Noelle was a
_______________________ . . . "Go start the car," Ezekiel ordered his gamma and tossed him her backpack. "Yes, boss!" Hunter shook his head, amusedly and walked ahead. Ezekiel looked down at his beautiful little mate. "You will obey me." It was a statement. A statement Noelle found amusing. "You wish." She grinned. Ezekiel carried her to the car. Hunter got out and opened the back door for them. "Hey wanna see a trick?" Noelle asked. Ezekiel looked at her weirdly. She quickly brought her legs up, kicking him in the knees. The impact had him tumbling backward and she took the moment to lunge backward and grab the door, flipping onto the top of the car. Hunter moved forward to catch her but was stopped by the warning growl from his alpha. "Mine!" His wolf growled through the mind link. Hunter internally rolled his eyes. Alpha males were the 'jealous beyond belief' kind of werewolves. Ezekiel jumped to his feet, scowling at his mate. "What's your name?" Noelle asked, si
____________________________ . . . "Well well well, if this isn't a castle!" Noelle stretched out her arms and legs as she yawned. "Welcome to Blood Moon pack house," Hunter said, pointing at the three-story stone building that looked like the school from Wild Child. "Now show me my room." Noelle smiled. "I am hoping Challenging the Luna Ceremony is tomorrow." "No actually," Ezekiel said. "The elders are away. We can't present you as the Luna before they return." "Bummer," Noelle muttered as she put her backpack around her arms. Though inside she was dancing. Royal treatment until the drama happens. "Zeke, Hunter!" The three wolves turned around to the source of the voice and found two she-wolves hurrying towards them. Their face hardened at the scent of a rogue and they showed their wolves. Ezekiel let out a low growl as his wolf showed himself, warning them to stay away from his mate. Noelle was least bothered. Two overconfident she-wolves were pieces of cake to her. "W

And it made his stomach do somersaults. He grew up hearing about the great bond between the soulmates that the Moon Goddess herself had forged and how powerful it was. But to feel it firsthand was something else. It was a blessing only the were-kinds were given. But to him, it almost seemed like a burden. What exactly was Her Highness thinking when she paired the both of them up? The four wolves looked towards the entrance of the dining room. Noelle walked in in a black sports bra and matching shorts with her hair up in space buns. Ezekiel growled, making Hunter look away immediately. "What are you wearing?" He growled and redirected his glare to Anna, who yelped at the mere look on his face. "I...I got her... a dress." She stuttered out. "A full-sleeve dress in the middle of summer? That too fo
______________________________ . . . The sun was too bright, the birds too loud, the weather too hot – Goddess, she hated Blood Moon territory already. Noelle was really starting to regret jumping at the thought of luxury. 'Ugh, someone shoot that sparrow down!' Her wolf whined. Noelle and her wolf only ever agreed upon two things – they hated their sleep disturbed and they hated unnecessary socialization. Noelle wondered why her wolf even wanted to be Luna when the position meant having to socialize with all the pack members and other officials when the situation called for it. 'Noelle, I am not in the mood for deep, life-changing thoughts.' Her wolf whined. 'Caffeine please. And maybe a whiff of our mate.' Noelle huffed. Her wolf had lost her brain cells after their mate came into the picture, though she did agree with her about coffee. She needed it desperately. Noelle couldn't sleep so well because well, the softness of a bed was not something the she-wolf was used to anymo
__________________________ . . . Noelle shrugged. "Never heard of them." "I thought you said the 'Royalty' could be it." Noelle paused, her lips touching the mug. That was so freaking stealthy that she didn't even feel her mate's presence until he spoke. 'Would have, if you had not ignored me.' Noelle rolled her eyes when she realized her wolf had already gone heart-eyed, having smelled and felt his presence. "Except they are legendary and no one knows if they really do exist or not." She shrugged. She had made a fatal error by taking the Royalties's name out casually. They were the supreme group and one of their laws was to kill off any rogue who revealed it to packs. She really was dead meat. "So how do we find out whether they exist or not?" Sebastian asked. Noelle liked Sebastian. While Livian was uptight and brooding, Sebastian was more laid back. It was a good equation. All three pairs of eyes were on her. She could also smell the stench of rotting flesh making its way
______________________ . . . Driving like a madman and running multiple red lights, they reached pack territory, where Ezekiel killed the engine to be able to surprise the rogues. He turned to his mate; his eyes pitch black. "Stay here." He said. "And don't you dare try running!" He was in full-on Alpha mode, and Noelle could almost feel his authority weighing down on her. With those words, the Alpha jumped down to the ground and broke out in a jog, leaping and transforming mid leap into a huge grey wolf. He didn't look back at his mate as he zoomed away, concentrating all his senses to where the number of rogues was the maximum. Noelle sat there, watching. Her eyes and mouth were wide. And for once, she was amazed by her mate. She had thought Alpha Ian's wolf was large. But he was nothing compared to her own mate. The lone wolf wanted to sit in the safety of the jeep and leave the saving the day to her mate and his army of pack warriors, but her irritating little wolf was clawi
_____________________ . . . They were too easy to kill. They were a decoy. 'Fuck it!' Noelle screeched in her head. 'Alright girlie, olfactory senses in ultra-mode.' "I am not 'girlie'." The wolf barked but did as was told. "I can smell them everywhere." 'If I sent a decoy to the east border, where exactly would I really want to be?' "The west?" The wolf said and then exclaimed. "The pack house!" . Noelle turned to her mate to find him engaged on a rogue with another warrior. She howled at him for attention. He quickly turned around, sensing what she felt, and signaled the warrior to take over. Noelle didn't wait as she ran in the direction of the pack house and Ezekiel followed, both of them realizing the rogues had become more alert. "Take them down!" Ezekiel barked into the pack link. "Leave just one alive to be interrogated." They ran for a good ten minutes before they reached the entrance to the pack house. Ezekiel shifted and charged inside while Noelle stopped.
_______________________..."What are we all doing here?" Mira screeched. "Me being here is understandable because my powers are deprived until the next full moon. What about you two? Why are you both not at the battlefield?"Melinda looked up from her cauldron, a steaming potion bubbling before her. "Our coven needs protection," she replied calmly, stirring the murky liquid with a wooden spoon. "The prophecy clearly states that Axel will not attack us directly. He's after the werewolf pack.""So?" Mira was surprised that Melinda would say that after everything they had been through."Being on their side in the backstage was one thing, Mira. But to fight alongside them against someone who is half us? We will have to face the wrath of the wizarding world and I am not ready for that." Melinda tried to make her understand.Mira shook her head and turned to Maria. "You agree with this crap?"Maria, who had been quietly brewing her own concoction in the corner, paused and took a deep bre
_______________________..."Luna?" Alec called her name at the same time as Ezekiel turned to her."What are you doing here?" Ezekiel asked, his arms open wide for her.Unlike the normal times when she would most probably swat him away, this time Noelle ran straight into his arms."What's wrong?" He asked."Just making sure I get to see you one last time in case you die and leave the pack to me!" Noelle shrugged and pecked him on his lips making him laugh."It is very reassuring knowing that if something happens to me, then the pack will be under the mercy of the chaos queen!" He rolled his eyes.Noelle gaped at him and poked him on his chest. "You did not just say that!""It seems like I just did!""Getting sassier by the day, aren't you?" Noelle scoffed."I live with a sass queen." He shrugged. "And is in love with her too.""Chaos queen. Sass queen. Anything else?" Noelle raised her eyebrow at his many nicknames for her."My queen." He laughed, kissing her."Ugh, cringe!" Noelle

Her eyes narrowed, watching him.Amaris ignored the jab. "She is not my girlfriend, kiddo. And Maria said she'd be here."Maria placed a bowl of steaming gravy on the table. "I don't know, she left a message saying she was going to see what Axel is up to. Didn't give details. Haven't tried to contact yet."The room grew quiet, filled with the clinking of silverware and the occasional murmur of the TV in the background. Amaris' mind raced with worry. He had a bad feeling about the whole thing."Shouldn't you try to reach out to Mira?" He finally asked Maria after a long while. The wolf looked at the witch expectantly. The witch shrugged. "Mira has said not to try to reach out to her. She will do it when she knows she is in the clear."Amaris' concern grew deeper. "But it's been hours. Something might be wrong.""There

Noelle was playing Candy Crush on her phone. "Because I seriously don't feel anything right now. That man is capable of much more.""Noelle..." Mira walked over to her. "I get that you do not particularly like your father but the fact cannot be overlooked that whatever he did, he did it for you. He was Ezekiel's age. He was young and didn't know any better."Mira didn't know why she was defending him when she herself felt betrayed by him."Alright. Now you have thirty seconds to defend his decision to hide the truth from us." Noelle tossed the phone to the couch and sat up straight. "Go on.""Noelle, just think over what she just said. Let it marinate." Ezekiel understood what Mira was trying to say and he agreed with Amaris to a certain aspect. After all, the man was a father and the person he was protectin

The girl he had sworn to protect, to train, to one day take his place as the Red Master– she was a lie.He was ready to bypass the prophecy, his destiny, for the sake of that child. But it was all for nothing.Mira's words echoed in his head, "You need to be ready to finish off the were-kind, as is your legacy."Axel clenched his fists, the nails digging into his palms. "I would have never been ready to kill my own flesh and blood." He murmured to himself, the rage burning in his eyes. "But she is not my daughter. She is a lie. The blood of Amaris. And I will make sure that he will have to watch his spawn die in front of his eyes."Mira watched Axel from the cor

She turned to face him, only to have her lips captured by his.Noelle gasped in surprise before melting into the kiss, her eyes fluttering shut. Her wolf was thrilled, finally getting the attention she had been craving. Noelle wanted to roll her eyes at her stupid wolf but the truth was that she wanted this just as much.Ezekiel's hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer as the kiss grew more intense. It was as if the last of his resolve had crumbled away, leaving only the primal instinct to claim his mate."We are in the middle of a war." Noelle breathed out as they pulled apart."I know. Makes me want you even more because I have no idea how much time we have together a

The air grew thick with magic, the candles on the walls flickering in a rhythm that matched his racing pulse. He had always known that his daughter was special, but to think that she might not be his flesh and blood...Mira chanted the ancient words with precision, her hands dancing in the air as she drew upon the arcane power that dwelt within her. The room grew colder, and a sudden gust of wind swirled around them, raising goosebumps on Axel's arms. He watched, his eyes never leaving Mira's as the magic grew stronger. The candles' flames grew taller, then shorter, as if they were breathing in sync with the incantation. And then, with a final, dramatic flourish, Mira slammed her hand down on the desk before her."The truth shall be revealed!" Her voice echoed through the room. "THE TRUTH SHALL

Her voice was clear and firm, and she meant business. Axel looked up from his phone and gave her his entire attention immediately. He knew that Mira was not one to simply fool around. That was why she was around with him for so long. And she had made things possible for him which he would not have been able to achieve on his own even with the myriad of powers he possessed.Axel was too proud to admit Mira's importance in his life out loud but he was man enough to admit it to himself."What's going on?" He asked."I found out about something while visiting my sisters that change everything about everything.""You still visit your sisters?"Oops.Mira blinked and cleared her throat. "Of course I do. I am a coven witch till the last of my breath. Nothing is going to change that.

They guessed their Goddess must be extremely jovial tonight, but they had to wonder what the possible reason might be. Then again, anything that made the Moon Goddess happy would bring nothing but good to her children. But this time, the Moon Goddess was just overcome with happiness because two of her stubborn children, whom she had left to themselves to find love, had finally admitted their feelings. It was a relief to the goddess, that she did not always need to use her powers to keep the wolves together. Mates were matches made in heaven, and once their love was established, maybe the mate bond was not necessary to constantly pull them towards one another.Moonlight travelled through the night with graceful ease, lighting up the otherwise dark room."Zeke..." Noelle sighed as Ezekiel peppered kisses on her jaw."Another round?"Noelle
