The deafening crash outside jolted the occupants of the house out of their verbal sparring match. We all rushed to the window, our eyes widened with a mixture of fear and curiosity when we saw chaos unfolding as a group of masked individuals armed and dangerous had surrounded Darren's house outside. My mind leapt and all might thought was filled with Damien, He was at the guest room alone, I prayed I wardly hoping he is safe there.
