Nightmare

Darren's Pov

My eyes fluttered open and I looked at the surroundings I found myself in and that was when I realized that everything that happened was just a dream, A nightmare at that. I stared around the room to be sure of where I was and saw that I was in a hospital bed laid on it hooked up with various machines.

I chuckled and laughed confusingly, cleaning my eyes to be sure of where I am. It seems like this is a joke that doesn't look real to me. I couldn't believe that everything that I passed through at that warehouse was not real. The betrayal, pain was just a dream and it felt so real.

I still felt like there is more to it because all those things can't just pop up to be a nightmare, it looks so impossible and confusing to me. It was never looking like all that was a nightmare so truly there was nothing like Miranda betraying me and wanting to take my life.

"This sounds like a joke" I muttered, still not believing my sight because it was something I was feeling. I felt ever
