A call interrupted my thoughts and I saw the caller ID,my heart thumped hard against my chest.

I didn't know if was ready to face me, if was left alone I would stay here forever and avoid all calls that remind me of a past I'm trying to forget.

"Hey dad." I said feigning surprise and a tinge of excitement upon picking up the call.

Although I had let it ring a few more times though, I could almost feel his emotions swirling wherever he was and it was because of his thoughts of my whereabouts

I still kinda felt guilty of a sort, it being like three years now and hadn't heard from dad. The last time I called was to ask of something relating to business as he was a guru at that.

Maybe because I didn't want him to hear Damien's screams and tantrums or I was avoiding home so I wouldn't run dad's company and lately so I don't meet Darren.

During the period I carried Damien and after that year I had not heard or tried to call, and it seemed as though I never cared for his well being, and now
