EDEN.

Prince Geralt approached me and Tyrion. He had his arms folded against his chest, his face contorted. “What is my right-hand man doing with a demoted Beta?” his voice resounded in my ears. “I'm talking to you, Tyrion…..”

“I should take the blame, although Ava caused it all.” Tyrion stood up. By then, I was already healed and felt so light. The pains had subsided so I could do whatever on my own. “If she had confronted me first about what brought her here, I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to help her.”

The Prince stepped backwards and signaled the two men beside him. They approached Tyrion and landed a heavy hit on his face, causing him to stagger backwards. I hurried to my feet and rushed towards the prince, falling to my knees. “Pardon him! I'll take the blame….” he quaked me to the floor, and I almost slammed my head on the veranda.
