André's POV

We arrived at the border and saw the carnage that Nicole's little rescuer had caused.

I glanced at some of the benches, and I could see border patrol officers nursing each other's injuries and wrapping bandages around mangled cuts and wounds.

Whoever did this and was able to do it single-handedly must have been someone really powerful. It seemed impossible for one man to take on an entire platoon of border security soldiers.

I felt Pierre invade my mind with the telepathic link.

"Forgive my intrusion, Alpha, but this looks very familiar to what Jonas did to me and my men when we ambushed him at the convenience store. He seemed very much able to take on all our men."
