"Again!"

I ran the course all over again at lightning speed and stopped at the finish line, panting, with my hands on my knees.

Sephora looked at me and gave me a single nod. That was probably all the praise I would get from her.

I rolled my eyes as she turned her back and walked away, and Grayson walked up to me instead.

"You are getting much better at the training drills. You have improved significantly and in such a short amount of time."

I felt my lips curl into a smile; Grayson always knew what to say to encourage me, unlike his associate, stone-faced Sephora.

"How about you try your transformation again? It was a bit slower last time. Let me see if there has been a significant speed improvement."

I nod and take a few steps back. I closed my eyes and focused all my lupine energy, merging my strength and body with Nima's. I could feel her energy bubbling inside me, and then it exploded out. I stood before Grayson in my wolf form, my golden fur flowing around me.
