Moving into the Pack house I bypass anyone who might be present taking the back steps up to our room. I am steaming that Colby had kept this from me. If I had known the rogues were looking for me in the first place, I would have been better prepared with questions and would have ideally got more information out of them.
Shutting the door to our bedroom, I strip off my clothes and head toward the bathroom shutting and locking the door. I put my hair up in a messy bun to save it from getting wet. I didn’t want to have to deal with wet hair before going to bed. Flipping the shower on, I wait for the water to warm up before I jump into the shower.
Letting the hot water run over my body, I let my muscles start to loosen up

Kate POV As we went through the itinerary, I had to admit Josey did a good job planning so we would be able to make optimal time and cover as many Packs as possible during our trip. Colby knew I would only be going to half the Packs as I would not miss the deadline to be at the Golden Moon Pack in a week. Colby POV As I met with my Betas Seth and Reg, I considered Josey’s comments about the Nighthawk Pack. The fact was I was going with Kate one way or another to the Golden Moon Pack. As Seth, Reg and I considered our options, I put a call into the Alpha of Nighthawk Pack to get a sense of what he needed to discuss. As I left a message for Alpha Aaron, I look to Seth and Reg, “Seth, I am going to send you there for the meeting next week,” I share with them. “Reg, you will manage everything at this end, and I will be in Golden Moon Pack on the weekend,” I add. “No problem, Alpha, just let me know what the discussion is, and I’ll be prepared to meet with them,” Seth says. “Let’s go over training plans, before you head out tomorrow morning” Reg adds.

Kate POV Colby and I had a whirlwind trip visiting the various Packs for the first few days. We visited four Packs in three days. All Packs had both an Alpha and a Luna. The hospitality was amazing. Kate POV We got the call two days later that Lily was in labour. Colby had been trying to convince me not to go. Lily would understand that he wanted me close to the Pack house and doctor. We both were anxious after our last loss, but we had to recognize that was a situation that happened to us. Not something that meant there was something wrong with the pup or me in terms of carrying our pups. Amelie was over the moon when she found out we were expecting. To find out we were having two pups was a surprise but a great one at that. Amelie asked repeatedly if she could name them. Considering the last stuffed animal she received, she named gremlin, we are trying to gently tell her no. But it made us chuckle last night as we considered the names she would come up with. We haven’t started thinking about names yet. We don’t know if it’s two boys, two girls or one of each. And we haven’t decided if we want to know what they are before they are born.

Kate POV It had been a couple months since everything had happened. From the DNA test results, to Caleb’s son being the mastermind behind all that had happened. Maddie POV It had been an amazing vacation with Drake. I cannot wait to go again. I loved all his surprises and most importantly our time together. I had heard from Kate. She and Colby were arriving shortly for a quick visit. They were stopping to see her parents first at the Golden Moon Pack, Kate had some paperwork to sign for Alpha Reid and then would be coming over here.
