I looked at the full moon and exhaled loudly. It has been two days and still my anger didn’t cool down. Even my wolf was always on the surface and would snap at anyone.

My pack has been evading me ever since and I felt like a total asshole for it but I can’t help it, seeing her try to run away from me felt like betrayal.

I opened my eyes when my beta stood beside me and cleared his throat.

“We all are waiting for you alpha. The entire pack is present and Black feet pack sent some enforcers to meet us.”

I nodded my head at Sawyer and walked to the direction of the clearing that was in the middle of the two territories.

I choose that place for the mating ceremony because I didn’t want to be on either land. This needed to be done on neutral territory because I still don’t trust that liar fucker.

Everyone was standing around the big blazing bonfire chatting and laughing among themselves but all of them bit their tongues when they saw us coming.

They parted for me and I smirked as the faint whispers began. Some of them were trying to decipher my actions and others felt sorry for the poor girl’s fate.

“There was no need for all of this. I could have sent her to your house; we aren’t keen on human customs in this pack.”

He said with a snide bite to his words making some of his pack members’ chuckle.

“We have traditions that we always uphold young alpha. And those traditions demand to be done in front of the two packs. This is a blessed union of two special wolves. This is the future of Silver Dawn pack.”

Grace, the pack elder said in her frail voice to the alpha making him look down sheepishly. She nodded her head and turned to her audience and opened her arms wide.

“Children of the goddess, we are gathered tonight to consummate the mating of our leader, Alpha Kronos known as savage. We all are gathered here tonight to witness such a union and bless it under the great light of the goddess, tonight our leader will complete his duty to us and give us a new heir. This was his promise to us since the day of his coronation, to protect us and leave an heir behind him to do the same.”

She looked at me and bowed her head as low as her weak body allowed then gestured to someone in the crowed. Moments later some females were back with Tamara dragged behind them.

She looked around her with big frightened eyes and then froze after seeing me. I took off my clothes as I walked toward her.

She flinched away when she saw me stand naked in front of her. I looked at the shaken body of the small woman in front of me and narrowed my eyes.

There were some faint bruises on her arms and naked thighs. I turned around to give her brother a threat filled look before focusing on my mate.

“Please don’t do this right in front of them. It was one thing having a doctor checking me in private and doing this right in front of everybody, please I beg you.”

I reached with my hand and ripped the sheer silk she was wearing and stared at her naked body. She looked good, not malnourished or abused that much.

I griped her arm and dragged her to the middle of the circle my people made, and then I pushed her to the floor as she whimpered and began to cry.

I made her stand on her hands and knees then I mounted her from behind. The first mating must be in front of everyone, they must see me fuck and knot her then I would bit her nape to mark her mine forever.
