Hunter's POVThe battle was getting out of hand. Time and time again, we were being attacked by warlocks who would shapeshift into different creatures. They were stronger than I had anticipated, but I managed to tell the difference between Warlock and Santiago. Just as I thought we were done for, Santiago shifted back to a minotaur again, charging toward me. "Hunter, watch out!" Alarick yells, holding his hand out. "Not today, asshole!" I hear Axel suddenly come into view. He charges behind the minotaur, jumping into the air, grabbing the monster by the horns, and pulling him down. I shift onto Titus and launch toward them, snapping my snout; I grip the minotaur's neck and bite down hard. I could feel the canines pierce its skin, giving it a guttering growl. Axel finishes him off, hitting him on the back of his neck, making me snap the whole head off of him. The head falls to the ground, making it roll away. Elora wanted me to take over her pack, Elens wanted me to take over the crown, and I- wanted to stay in my pack. So, we came up with a plan. Elora needed a replacement. So, if I ever had a daughter, we would train her to become the next alpha. But if I gave birth to a boy, she'd have to give him the pack when he's ready to take over as alpha. Which- she agreed. Abbie's POV It's been two months since we defeated Matisa—two months too long since we've been looking for the real Analise. Today, we finally found her.It wasn't easy finding her and bringing her home would certainly not be easy. Where we found her, she had made a whole new life. Abbie's POV (five years later)I walked with Hunter by my side, slowly making my way toward the stairs. Hunter held our son Mateo's hand. Anthony walked next to Mateo, holding his other hand as they smiled from ear to ear. Today was my baby girl Autumn's first birthday, and as the heir to Elena's throne after me, our pack, Elora, and Elena's kingdom would give her a grand party.
