Chapter 123; Moonbeam pack.

Nicholas peeked his head out of the side of the carriage, gazing up at the sky. It was bearing a dim blue hue, meaning it was early dawn. His gaze swept out around their vicinity, and he saw the trees and shrubs ladened on the floor.

Sighing heavily, he retreated back into the carriage.

“You should keep your face hidden, we are nearing the Moonbeam territory.” Blood Grove said from outside the carriage. He was the one riding the horses, commandeering the carriage’s movement and direction.

“We have been riding all night, I do not remember Moonbeam pack to be so far in distance from Cresthowl. And if we are nearing Moonbeam territory, why are we still surrounded by thick forest trees?” Nick asked with dissatisfaction clear in his tone.

“You are surely an impatient one Commander.” Blood Grove remarked as the carriage moved over a bumpy road, shaking the carriage and thus, making sleeping Kiya moan softly.
