Chapter 122; Waiting.

Ivorie carefully twisted the threads into each other with her crocheting stick. She was seated on a chair in her chamber, doing what she did best whenever she felt down – stitching.

She had refused Grace's offer to help her prepare a small meal. She wasn't hungry, she didn't feel like eating anything at all. She just wanted to stitch.

She heard the door of her room click slightly and she raised her head. But meeting Regan's face made her face her fabric again.

Regan released a heavy sigh. He walked in and shut the door carefully.

Even he could sense the tension in the air as he stepped in. To him, Ivorie was obviously still upset at what she had seen him do.

“You're still maintained on stitching.” He remarked as he sat on another chair a few feet away from her.

Ivorie didn't respond.

“Ivorie.” Regan called. “What I did to that watchman…”

“You had to do it, I know.” Ivorie cut him off between his words.

Regan tilted his head with a quizzical gaze.
