"F**k." Rasmus cussed.
Catherine stared when a girl sauntered into the house. She could be barely 12 or 13, as she walked further in. Her jet black hair was in a shoulder-length bob cut giving her a cute look, adorable, she has forest green eyes and thick lashes, wait...
Black hair, green eyes...
By any chance...
"Angela, what are you doing here?" Rasmus asked as he stood straight now facing the girl. She just grinned at him.
"Oh, I'm not alone, big brother." Angela mused as she winked at him.
A second later a beautiful girl waddled inside, she also had jet black hair but her eyes were ocean blu
Aurora was so kind, her brother asked her for some spare dresses but she brought her whole cupboard there. She gave Catherine free rein to take whatever she liked.Catherine was so happy with her hospitality, but she was one of a kind herself as she talked to Aurora nonstop and made her blurt out which ones were her favorite dresses so Catherine smartly put them aside and chose from the rest. She didn't take much, two shirts, two pairs of jeans, one sundress, and one pajama, that was all.In the case of innerwear, Aurora was petite but with good curves. Aurora assured Catherine that she would get her the first thing tomorrow."So how did you guys become friends? I still can't wrap this whole thing around my head." Angela asked with curious eyes.Catherine smiled as she s
Rasmus came back late at night as he placed the umbrella near the door. He checked on Adriel and a part of him urged him to check on Catherine as well.He ascended the stairs and walked towards the last room in the far corner, he scowled when he found the door ajar, he stepped inside, she wasn't there and the bathroom was also empty. His brows furrowed as he came out. On his way up here, he saw the kitchen was also empty. Where could she be?A weird sort of panic settled in form as he descended the stairs following her flowery scent that took him towards the porch. The sight in front of him had his breath hitching in his throat as he watched. It was a slim delicate silhouette, the silver light of the crescent moon shone on it.
He took in a sharp breath, taking a step away from her, his hands fell to his sides. Catherine stumbled on her shaky legs and she slowly blinked at him. Her chest heaving up and down, plump swollen red lips, blazing cheeks, and wide eyes as she looks at him.She didn't know what to say or do? But she saw the look on his face; guilt and shame. Her stomach churned at that look on his face. He combed his hair back with his fingers, an emotion of rage marring his face. Before she could even force a word out of her lips, he turned his back to her and stalked back inside.Suddenly the rain became so cold against her skin. Her shuddering intensified and she just stood there trembling. Her shaky hand came up as she touched her swollen lips. He kissed her, and that wasn't it, she kissed him back. Her heart thudded wildly as
Catherine lowered her eyes to his chest, dropping her hand back to her side. "It was just the heat of the moment, I don't want you to think otherwise," he was pissed and angry. His voice was cold and lethal."Okay." She said in a small voice while looking down.Okay? Just like that? He thought she would create a big scene out of it."We can not be a thing, Catherine, I want to clear it right now," he pressed again, voice gravelly. She swallowed the lump of emotions down her throat. "I understand," she mumbled in a soft tone and he was again confused as f**k.Wasn't she supposed to inquire why he did that? She was supposed to be angry at him, he didn't expect this reaction from h
She stood so close, her dark brown tresses cascading down her back... The urge to feel their softness was gullible, she stood in his room facing the window, her back to him and he was awestruck by how fragile and small she looked. He prowled towards her, with an intent to get the taste of her, the taste he couldn't forget. Her flowery scent engulfed him as he stood behind her, just an inch away. His hands itched to feel her skin. And giving into his yearning, his large hands landed on her slim waist. She stepped back instinctively as her back pressed to his chest, Catherine let out a soft sigh of bliss and relaxed in his embrace. His hand moved forward as his large palm rested on her belly and he pushed her hips back, she gasped and visibly jolted feeling his hard-on. "Rasmus," she whispered his name in a soft prayer. With a low growl, he turned her around so now she was f
"I'm impressed," Hunter said from right beside him.Rasmus nodded his head, eyes narrowing in at the buses that now start filing into the training camp."Same," Rasmus grumbled. As the war was approaching they had to start preparing for it. The better their defense, the better it would be. Every year a tournament was held in their pack through which they selected the strongest of the warriors for the security squad. It was like this always and every time the total number of selected warriors wasn't more than fifteen or twenty, which was very less. Before them, Xander used to follow the agenda of keeping fewer warriors but the best ones, like the one-man army theory. It was working till now because they weren't threatened by great powerful forces. Rasmus recalled ho
The first day was pretty hectic and tiring. They split the recruits into pairs and made them spar just to analyze what everyone got up their sleeves. Rasmus was quick to notice some of the recruits already looked fit and they had some skills up their sleeves but some trainees knew zero of sparing. After that Hunter put them through circuit training, gladly that all knew at least what was happening. Rasmus put them through plyometrics and by that time few were already collapsing. A stamina build-up was necessary.Hunter then called it a day for all recruits as they sighed in relief, grabbed their bags, and headed for the barracks complex.Rasmus and Hunter stayed there as they made the list of recruits, separating the ones who looked skillful from the ones who looked clueless, they kept in mind the stamina and speed.
Adriel was fast asleep on the couch. Rasmus picked the kid up in his arms and walked into his room. Tucking the kid into the sheets, he closed the door, walked out, and went to his room.Catherine hasn't slept properly since she came here. Though her body begged her to fall asleep she was afraid of sleeping. The paranoia of the nightmares was vicious, nor did she have any sleeping pills or antidepressants. She left her room late at night. She descended the stairs and noticed Rasmus's jacket on the couch. He was home. She quietly checked on Adriel and he was fast asleep. She walked into the kitchen, rummaged through the fridge, and then poured herself some orange juice, grabbed the glass, and padded to the porch. The place has become her favorite place in this house. This place links to a good memory and a bad memory. She sighed looking up at the sky. The stars were twinkling beautifully and the crescent of a moon illuminated its serene light.
5 months later. "Baby, what can I do, please tell me." Rasmus's soft voice was heard but Cath only glared at him. "I don't know. I'm just angry. Stop looking at me. No... bring me ice cream. No... I don't even know what I'm craving. This is scary that I don't even know what I want. Why are you staring at me? I look like a fat potato. Oh my God... I'm not beautiful anymore..." She was blabbering nonstop. A soft smile graced his lips as he watched her quietly. She woke up in the middle of the night saying she wanted his attention and now she was talking nonstop. She has been like this for the past few months. His mom said that these were the pregnancy perks or something of that sort. He didn't complain. "You are even more beautiful now." He mused and her jaw slacked, eyes watering up. She was also being too emotional these days. "Stop it..." She says dramatically while swaying her hand. "I need ice cream," She muttered. "Just five minutes, baby." He said as he walked out of the r
Every one of the pack members was gathered in the hall. Rasmus was right beside his sister. Xander and Emma stood to her left. Cath, Hunter, Angela, Luca, Clarke, Reid, Davis, Adriel, Agatha, all of them were there except Silvia, she had left right after Catherine's wedding. She left without even saying goodbye, just leaving a note behind for Clarke and Reid not to worry about her and nor to look for her.Davis brought the cake and Cath along with Angela set the candlelights.Aurora was smiling shyly. Angela and Cath had lifted her mood after her talk with Luca."Make a wish," Angela chirped as Luca glared at her. Feeling his gaze on her she glanced at him and scrunched her nose while poking out her tongue at him.He rolled his eyes at her tactics.Aurora closed her eyes as she wished to have the most caring and loving man as her mate. She opened her eyes and blew out the candles. Grabbing the knife she cut the cake as everyone cheered and wished her happy birthday. She fed the cake t
She clutched his shoulders as he moved inside her.She noticed that he was looking down where they were connected and her stomach tightened. He growled when she pulled at his hair and yanked him down for a kiss. She kissed him passionately and his pace fastened. Just when she was about to come he pulled out of her.She whined as he moved out of the bed but she shrieked when he turned her around with his arm on her waist and she found herself on her fours. He grabbed her ass before slamming into her hard. She arched her back as he slapped her ass cheek and pounded in her hard."So f*cking beautiful," He growled as his veiny hand roamed her back. She tensed when he caressed her scars. "Beautiful," He rasped as he grabbed her hair in a fist and yanked her up, his hand wrapped around her throat as she turned her neck to kiss him.One of his hands squeezed her bosom while his other hand barely constricted her air supplies as he pounded in her hard."I..I'm..." She was mewling when he pull
No matter how many times Rasmus tried to snatch Catherine away from everyone but the poor man was unable to get the chance alone with his wife. His sisters were with Cath like her second skin and not to forget Quinn and Avery. All the girls were hell-bent on keeping Cath away and making Rasmus all grumpy and needy. The celebrations were still going on in full swing. The night approached but no one seemed tired. They were dancing, chatting, and enjoying dinner.Silvia was sitting quietly on the couch when Agatha came to sit beside her."So what do you think?" Agatha asked and the girl breathed in deeply. "I'll be leaving tomorrow for the training," she said and Agatha smiled. "Excellent, you have the powers of ancient witches. You are far stronger than you think. This training would help you control your magic and you'll learn many things," Agatha said as Silvia nodded her head."Your husband is dying to have you. Jeez. Just look at how pissed he looks." Avery mused as she nudged Cath
"I'm talking to you?" Hunter growled lowly as he grabbed her elbow and turned her around rather roughly. Silvia had walked away from the backyard, there were so many people, and the visions she was having since the past few days had affected her severely. She needed to get her thoughts together.Whatever she saw in her visions. She couldn't afford to let it happen. Silvia has to make up her mind soon."Why the f*ck are you ignoring me, witch?" He sneered in low menace causing her to flinch back as she tried to get her elbow free from his brutal hold but it seemed impossible."Y..you a..are hurting me..." She whispered trying to free her arm but Hunter wasn't having it.He dragged her along with him into one of the guestrooms and closed the door shut with such force that it rattled badly. The next thing he pushed her against that same door placing one of his hands on the side of her head as he glared down at her."Listen here and listen well" He started. His voice was cold as ice as hi
Xander walked into the room where Catherine was standing silently. "You look stunning," He complimented, and her cheeks tinted red. "Thank you," She smiled politely at the man. Though Rasmus was intimidating, Mr. Colt was on another level. At this age, he still looks so young and fit. Surely girls would swoon over him if he ever went to her university. She couldn't wait to see Avery's reaction when she would see Rasmus's dad. Just last week they announced their pregnancy to everyone and it was Emma who planned this small cozy wedding for Catherine. As the only human being in this pack. She knew the importance of marriage for a human. As for werewolves, their kind of marriage was when they mark and claim their mate but now if one of them was human, then marriage was a must. Catherine was in tears when Emma announced their marriage and Rasmus was the happiest as he took her shopping on the same day. But they didn't go alone. Davis and four other men came along with them in anoth
"Angela I want your brother right now," Emma demanded curtly and Angela sighed in exaggeration."I'm looking for him, mom," Angela said as she left again to look for Hunter for the third time in a day. It was like he was hiding away purposely. It was understandable that he didn't like weddings and all but seriously. The man was hiding away so he didn't have to be a groomsman. The perks of that man.Even Luca was all grumpy and irritated as he did the last checkups.Almost all of the pack was present in the backyard waiting for the ceremony to begin."Where's Rasmus?" Emma asked aghast as she looked at Aurora who shrugged her shoulders awkwardly.Catherine was checking out her dress, making sure that everything was perfect and she had worn everything that she had shopped for her wedding. The door opened and then it closed. "Clarke, can you please adjust the flow of the tail, please," Cath said loudly and she heard Clarke approaching.Catherine was fully drowned in adjusting her dress f
"I'm alive because of you three," Catherine said softly as she gazed at those who had saved her life despite being her kidnappers."We were done with Alonso. He was on a rampage of destruction. We aren't killers," Reid said seriously as Luca, Hunter, and Rasmus gazed at the guy. The three of them had taken him to the training barracks where he showed his fighting skills, and to be honest, the three of them were immensely impressed and that wasn't it, they would also get to learn new tricks and ways how Alonso's men fight. Reid would be a great help to them and their warriors and that wasn't it. Even his mate Clarke was a skilled fighter as well as a Doctor.Silvia on the other hand was a silent, timid type of girl. It was said that she could have a vision of the future, one of the powers she has being a witch. Rasmus had asked the three of them if they wanted to stay and be a part of the moon pack and they agreed despite Hunter's disapproval.Somehow Hunter didn't have any problem wi
He kissed her slowly and it soon deepened as he kissed her hard enough to stake his claim on her.She was shuddering in his arms as he continued to kiss her, snatching her soul out of her body and he finally broke the kiss when she punched at his shoulders. Indicating him to let her breathe. She panted heavily as the kiss ended with a sloppy sound. With her heart drumming in her ears she finally opened her eyes to look at him.He was breathing heavily as well. She watched as he lay beside her and he placed his face in the crook of her neck laying kisses on her neck. She caressed his arm that draped around her waist as she tried to calm her erratically beating heart down. "Am I dreaming?" She asked in a small whisper and Rasmus smiled."We are at my favorite place and I just made crazy love to you, I loved every bit of it and I confessed my feelings for you," He rasped and her heart, which was calming down slightly, started to beat at a wild pace."You l...love me?" She asked in a whis
