chapter Seven

Dada, dada wake up, please Dada. "hash Whitney dada just needs a little sleep. " "Are you sure mama" " yes sweety now hash going to sleep and I will have dada moved to another room to rest" "can he stay here mama please" "awe honey your bed might just break" seeing her daughter pout she gave in and used magic to make the bed bigger to fit Benjamin.

"Tell me again what happened?" Sebastian roared

" Your highness, we were able to locate where the spell originated from but we could not get any closer. the spell could not let a man go through it. but l.."

" speak up, I don't have all day"

"yes, your highness. I managed to throw a small knife through the crack in the spell. and from the sound it made I'm sure someone was harmed."

"good this is the type of feedback I need, where is the rest of the team?"

looking down. " We lost them, your highness, a spell was cast out of nowhere and it took our men out. I managed to get away because I was standing at the boundary"

ahhh Sebastian let out a scream and throw everything off his desk. Wondering who had this much power to cast a protection spell to kill some of his best men. he clocked them so well. realization hit him.

" Tell me which knife did you throw?" silently hoping it was the one that allowed him to in vend the mind of his victims. when he saw the evil grin his man needed not speak.

"what is that your name again?" "William your highness" "William, you my friend, will be rewarded. how do you feel about accompanying me to see who dared do this?" " it would be an honor to accompany you, my king," William responded.

moving about the room, trying to find all the items he needs to dream jump. H went ahead and drew the circle and gestured for William to enter the circle. picking a knife he cut William's palm. with greeted teeth, he held his pain in. "Good William. I like men who can control their pain. take a look all healed"

William looked down at his hand and just like Sebastian said it was healed. Sebastian joined him in the circle and started chanting the spell.. opening his eyes which had taken up the color of light he said "Let me in"

Benjamin started sweating, frowning like someone who wasn't enjoying his dream. sweat started to drip down his face and his body started to sweat making the bed wet. when Whitney turned she noticed her father was sweating and from the look on his face, he was having a bad dream. she called out for her mother but she didn't come. The little girl remembered that every time she had a bad dream, Her mother would place both hands on each side of her head and speak the world's "let me in" after saying these words the looked girl passed out on top of her father who was still dreaming.

*DREAM*

" Benjamin, wake up." Derek barked. licking Benjamin. But Benjamin was too weak to move after the knife incident. from a distance, Derek heard a call from a child he knew so well. "Whitney," he said out loud before he took off in the distance. running as fast as he could. He knew so well it was reckless to leave his human alone in such a condition. But he had to save Whitney. As he got closer so did her scent. Which was old because he could never smell her unless they were up close. he started to slow down. maybe she had hurt herself and was bleeding or someone hurt her. But when he found her he was in aww. she was a pup an actual pup. no wolves could shift until they turned 10 and she was 6 years away from it and when he smelt he could never smell a wolf so he settled for her being a witch. But there she was all White with dark paws to match his color. the closer he got to her. He saw a rope around her back leg. it wasn't until he tried to free her did he notice it was tired with magic.

A laugh could be heard from the woods and whoever it was coming closer. " This is going to be easy," Sebastian said. Derek let out a low growl. "how are you alive, I killed you? "no you mutt, you killed my father. I just happen to look like him." standing guard of his pup he asked a question he dreaded but had to " ahh right Jr, what do you want?" " A life for a life" " fine go ahead and kill me" laughing out loud. "I don't think you understand. I want you to watch your pup die." Derek ranged surged and went through the ground. Waking

Benjamin up. "Derek has to always be too loud. getting up from his sleep he followed the invisible pull Toward Derek. the closer he got the more he noticed that fear and anger were coming off him. nothing ever scared Derek.

he tried to mind link him but he couldn't get through to him. he wondered if it was from the wound he got earlier. Touching his wound and pressing on it to see if it would get a reaction out of Derek. Derek felt the sting and let his wall down. "finally, nice of you to join the party." "What did I miss?" " Whitney has a wolf. These guys have her trapped in some sort of spell that I can't get her out of, because you and I are separated. making our powers limited" "how are we still separated?"

"owh I can answer that, you did not close the portal you opened and that's why I am also able to be in your head"

Benjamin sat down quickly, remembering his father's words. what to do if he was ever in a situation where he couldn't close the spell. sitting down he chanted and closed the spell his body turned into a spirit-like form as it floated back in Derek. who was now transforming into their half form. cracking his head left and right right. his eyes taking the lightest brown to represent Derek and a dark brown to represent Benjamin. "Now this feels better"

His voice now held more authority, the alpha who had gained more height in his form. was radiating power that Sebastian didn't quite think about when he transported himself to the mind of An Alpha whose wolf was so old.

he kept radiating his power as he got down and removed the rope on Whitney. who was able to transform back to human form. Sebastian couldn't be his eyes. He was right all along she was indeed the chosen child. It was because of her all those years ago. the sign of havoc. Benjamin returned to wolf form as he was picking up his daughter so his claws could not hurt her.

without looking at the two men Benjamin spoke, "what is your name? "my, ah I am, I" "Speak before my full anger descends on you. " how dare you to speak to my master in that manner, don't you have manners?" using the opportunity Sebastian let himself out of the dream. "which master, the coward that left you to fight me? looking around William couldn't believe Sebastian left him behind. after his dedication. moving up the rank to make sure he could get close to him.
