You’re Getting It Now

"Okay, I'm ready to go," I say, putting my purse around my body and turning to Lion. He smiles and his eyes light up the whole universe.

He's so excited.

"Jump on me," he orders and turns around to squat in front of me. I lift my dress a bit to make sure I can open my legs and I jump on his back without the fear of breaking him, since he proved himself earlier. Lion easily grabs my legs and even makes me jump until I'm higher on his back. I wrap my arms around his neck, "Hold on tight, okay? I promise I won't let you fall, but I need you to hold on because I'll be going fast."

"Okay," I say, my tummy going insane. I haven't felt this excited in... ever, probably. I tighten my grip on his neck again, "I'm trusting you with my life, Lion. A-wait did you take a shower today? Because you smell really good."

"I did, actually. Just for you," he says, looking at me over his shoulder, "And you can fully trust me, don't worry."
