A couple of minutes after we start eating breakfast, Bea comes into the breakfast room. She's wearing a long, yellow summer dress and her long blonde hair is done like a fairy.

Fucking hell, how does she look so pretty so early? I'm wearing one of Leo's shirts and his gym shorts and my hair is still crazy because he doesn't own a brush. I hate her for looking so good.

But I don’t hate her that much now that I know she won’t be marrying my man anymore.

"Good morning, I'm sorry I'm late," she says. Her eyes look a little puffier than yesterday, but her smile is huge today and her voice is very melodic. She sits daintily next to me, "Jolene, right? Good morning."

"Yes, hi," I say and I look at Jace because I notice that his shoulders get so tense, he looks like a big rock, all hardness. I wonder if Bea enjoys cuddling that big rock, I don’t think it’s comfy at all.
