The governor dialed Lucas’s number from his office as he was worried since he had not heard from any of them in days. The number went through but no one answered. He kept trying and still no answer until a strange female voice answered and he swallowed hard to develop the courage to ask.
“Who’s this?”
“Hello governor, sir. It’s me, Muna.” Muna replied with a smile on her. she had picked Lucas’s phone from his side as no one was close by and she was passing by, she took the call.
The governor was a little relive even though he did not quite recall who he was talking to over the phone. “Why is Lucas not taking his calls? Is he there?” the governor asked slowly.
Muna paused and gazed down at Lucas who lay lifeless in bed. Immediately, a maid walked in carrying a bowl of water and a towel to clean Lucas up as she usually did.
“I would like to clean the lord, please. If you’ll excus

Ella was amazed to hear that Kara and the governor were like family since Kara had lived through many centuries and have been in many professions and had known the governor since he was a little boy. Raul narrated the story of the governor to Ella who seemed very interested while Hayley was still in Kara’s thoughts.Meanwhile, Hayley was using the good moments Kara had in her life to get her to forget about her death visions. Kara was amazed because she did not know that her sister could install new thoughts into anyone’s mind. She was now a master in her craft as a psychic werewolf. While she was installing the memories into Kara who was enjoying the thoughts and smiling heartily, she recalled that the priest had once mentioned to her that she had great potentials to exhibit through her powers if only she knew how to tap into it.Now, without the help of the priest, she has been able to tap into it and has opened her mind to other secrets she needed to lea
It was now Hayley and Raul alone in his room.“I know what you want to ask me.” She began.Raul approached her slowly. He took her hands in his and kissed them softly. He gazed into her eyes, he could see that she was troubled. He had so much to tell her and wished that his love for her was enough to take her pains away. He licked his lips and held her face in his hands and caressed it.Hayley sighed in confusion as she gazed into his eyes and shook her head. Raul drew her close to him in a tight hug and kissed her forehead.“I’m so scared for my sister,” Hayley confessed.“I’m worried too for you,” Raul added.“I don’t know how to summon or son. I wish he can avert this whole death thing for her. I don’t know what I’ll do if I lose her.” Hayley began to tear up.Raul patted her head softly on his shoulders and allowed her to sob. “It’s alright h
Heather sat nervously watching the screen as the president gave a sign. She got on her feet briskly and was panting. This distracted the others who were in the room.“He's going to kill them all.” She shouted. The others wondered what she was talking about and then security men dressed in black fighter suits came and carried her. Her two sons tried to calm her down but she was afraid that they would also be thrown out and she needed them to remain there and pay attention to any threats that may cause their father’s death. They understood and sat quietly while the security guards took Heather and locked her up in a room. While she was there, she was panting with fear. She had thought that they would throw her outside so she could summon some of her werewolf friends to ruin the meeting and save her husband. But to her surprise, she was locked up inside a room like she was going to be interrogated.Soon, a young man walked in. he had his fa
The president gazed at Tom who was touched by the dead werewolf lord he was surprised that the president did not get the fact that they were the same kind. The president chuckled at the dead lord and then turned towards Tom and said.“That is one of many to go.”Tom did not gaze at him. he was calm still gazing at the dead werewolf.“You seem awfully hurt.” The president added. “There is something about you...” he paused and gazed carefully at Tom who was now staring at him. “You must be protecting someone; your children. Perhaps they are changelings. Isn’t that what they call humans who turn werewolves?”Tom said nothing. He took a deep breath and remained silent.“You are protecting someone, I can see that.” The president concluded. “And if neither you nor your wife can produce at least twenty names each of these other werewolves living amongst us before nightfall, I’ll
The governor took a seat as he knew that it was going to be a very long conversation. He told Raul all that had happened from the massacre he watched on television to the president’s visit to his house.Raul recalled what Ella had said while they were discussing Hayley’s visions. He wondered why he had not stopped Tom from attending that meeting. He began to feel guilty and responsible for bringing them out of the president’s trap.“I could have stopped them from attending that meeting,” Raul emphasized.“This is not your fault, Raul.” The governor tried to console him.“I am responsible for their safety and I have failed. How can I do anything without them? They have been like family to me; a family that I never had.” Raul began to sob.Soon, Hayley walked in on their call at the sound of Raul’s voice and asked.“What’s going on, Raul? Who are you talking to?&rdqu
The governor could not stop thinking about what he had just heard from Raul. He had run out of options and also had Kara to worry about. His conversation with Hayley on contacting the werewolf god was fruitless since he could not get her to reach him.Hayley had explained to him how impossible it was for her to reach the werewolf god. The governor thought it was time to set things right with the priest. He believed that Raul’s idea to call the priest to a round table for a talk was quaint so he made it his business to ensure that Raul does not get further news on what happens in the world of the originals so he could concentrate on what happens in the mainlands.Meanwhile, Claire could not reach Kal for days since the massacre incident in the meeting room. She still had no idea of who Kal was but was amazed to know that werewolves existed. She tried to understand what Raul, Virgil, and Kal were always discussing when they were together which they ne
Claire watched the man pace around the room as she still insisted on denying any knowledge of the dress. The dress she knew belonged to Betty but she wondered what Betty had to do with werewolves.Could she have met a werewolf? Or did she just borrow her dress to one? Betty does not know about werewolves. She thought to herself. She was sure that Betty knew nothing.“I swear to you. I don’t know anything about this dress.” She lied. “What’s with it anyway?”“It belongs to a friend of yours.” The man replied.“Yes,” Claire responded.“Then tell me, what is a werewolf doing as your friend?” the man asked.“Excuse me?” she scoffed.“Don’t play coy.” The man was pissed. “If you don’t want to play the easy way, then we can play the hard way.” He signaled his men to surround her while he sat in front of her, watch
