Part 1

My eyes frantically scanned around the hallway for the owner that delicious scent would lead to. That's when I spotted him.

"Aud, class' this way." Aiden stopped me by a hand on my arm.

"Later." I dimissed him and pried my arm from his grasp, following the scent to the boy that seemed to be trying his best to blend in the crowd.

"Mate"

My breaths came in soft gasps as I kept a step away from him, in order to see what he did or where he went. I didn't want to jump on him right about now, although my wolf was going crazy over our mate.

His face was almost covered in his large hoodie and his dark hair.

His smell.

It's intoxicating and it's capturing my heart and mind in a warm buzz, my eyes fixate on his form that's been standing in the corner for several seconds now.

Just when the bell rung, he pushed himself off the wall to make his way to the class did I take a look at his face.

My breath hitched. He has to be the most beautiful, gorgeous, and handsome boy alive. And he's human.

He has dark, almost black, hair. Icy blue eyes, he was tall and lean, but it seemed he sure has some muscles hidden underneath that large hoodie.

My mouth watered at the image of his body without clothes and how much I'd like to run my fingers over-

Stepping closer to me, he abruptly stopped. I subconsciously closed my eyes and intook a huge amount of his scent, feeling him near me. My wolf purred and a ghost of a smile lit up my face.

When I peeled my eyes open, I saw him scanning around as if to look for someone.

I smiled. Knowing he must smell me as well.

I became hopeful but he shook his head and walked away. My eyes followed him longingly. I noticed the slight limp on his right leg.

My eyes darkened as a low growl escaped my throat. I ran after him, we have the same first class. Yay.

I purposefully took a seat beside him and he jumped, startled.

I took a glance at how big and curious his blue eyes were as they stared at me in utter disbelief. The gears in his mind turned and he opened his mouth to speak but closed it right away.

Nervousness radiated off of him and I felt bad. I should probably do something to make him feel relaxed.

"It's okay. Take your time." I softly whispered, leaning closer to him.

He stiffened but visibly relaxed and I saw his grip on his jeans loosen. I felt relieved.

The teacher entered and during the name call, I got his name.

Chase Cedric.

Beautiful name for a beautiful boy.

After class, we got up and as I was stuffing my books in my backpack, I sensed from the corner of my eye that he was still standing by the desk, shuffling his feet.

I stifled a smirk and waited for him to say whatever's going through his mind.

"A-are you m-my mate?" He spoke in the most adorable voice ever. It did sound a bit husky at the end, causing a shiver to run down my spine.

I turned to him, sporting my most comforting face ever, doing my best to spread calmness through my aura.

"Yes. And you're mine." I didn't mean to sound like I own him or something but the possessive growl my wolf let out implied otherwise.

His cheeks coated in a warm blush and he looked up to meet my eyes. Our eyes locked and the world around evaporated into thin air, leaving the two of us to get lost in the mystical bubble of love we felt brewing within us.

"But you're an Alpha." His puzzled and unsure tone made me upset.

"Let's talk outside." I grabbed his hand and immediately was overthrown by the electrifying bolts of pleasure that erupted from the touch, making my whole body shudder, as well as his.

I have never let my body or mind react like this before. Let alone my emotions. But as of now, everything seemed to be out of my control due to the presence of this amazing human known as my mate.

I was holding his hand and walking out, I felt him slowly, timidly wrap his fingers around mine, I softly smiled.

A soft blush of my own spreaded over my face and I prayed that Aiden didn't see me like this. Or else I'd never hear the end of it.

I stopped at the backyard where a huge willow tree was.

The wind rustled, the leaves mixing with the sound of my mate's pants. I bit my tongue when I realized it must have been hard for him to keep up with my Alpha speed.

"Sorry." I mumbled guiltily and he quickly waved his hand, refusing it.

"It's okay. I'm okay. It's jus-just," he placed a hand over his chest and slighty scrunched his face in pain then looked at me with an unconvincing smile. "I'm good."

I looked at him skeptically but decided to not pester him on oozing out more information about his most possibly abusive life for now. But it stayed in the back of my mind.

My wolf growled menacingly at the certain idea of something or someone hurting our mate.

"Well, as you already know, we're mates." I began, shaking off the protective thoughts that plauged my mind, and he nodded along. "I know it doesn't go for humans like it goes for wolves, so we'll take it slow. Unless you don't want me or reje-"

"No!" He interrupted way too quickly and then covered his mouth in embarrassment, cheeks flaming up. I chuckled at his adorableness. "I-I mean, I-I'm okay with this. I l- want to be your mate."

My heart started pounding like crazy at his words, my wolf purring and rolling on her back from the giddy flutteries in my stomach. I restrained my face from breaking for how huge of a grin I was displaying.

"Well, Chase. I want you too, I m-mean as a mate. I accept you."

His face literally brightened up like the Christmas tree and he gave me the biggest smiles ever.

My heart contracted at the sight of his adorable face. I was in a frenzy by his graceful beauty.

His long, dark lashes that casted a shadow over his pale, high cheekbones. His sharp jawline that made me want to have a taste of it, his icy blue eyes that represented the sparkling water of the ocean under a scorching sun. His small nose and lastly, his plump full lips. They looked so soft and kissable, my mouth dried and I have to take deep breaths to calm myself before my evident arousal started to smell in the air. I didn't wanna scare him off right away.

"So uhm- would you like to go on a date with me?"
