Sophie’s POV

I picked up my legs one after the other and got to them, Amara was still so engrossed in the house she was trying to build with the beach sand, and the ball throwing between Maxon and Asher had already stopped when I got to them.

Asher had a big smile on his face, “mom.” He murmured.

I fell beside him on his wheelchair, giving him a soft and tender kiss on his forehead, “how are you, my prince?” I asked.

“I am fine, mommy.” He murmured. “Dad and I are playing a game, will you join us?” He asked.

I nodded at him, “I will.” I stated and stood up from the floor, taking my position.

The game was about to start when Amara stood up from where she was and ran to me, her hands wrapped around me, she seemed to have just noticed my presence.

“Good morning, mom.” She greeted.

“Good morning, my princess. I hope you are fine.”

“Yes, I am trying to build a house for you and dad, along with Asher and I.” She laughed, excitement written all over
