14 - The next morning

Her smile never fades as she closes the door to her room, it's 2a.m. and my heart is soaring to the moon. I know I'm moving too fast, but I want her to be my mate, my Queen. I lean against her door not wanting to move too far away from her. I listen as she crawls into the bed and I see her light go out.

I wake the next morning, a smile curls on my face as I go towards my ensuite to shower and ready myself for the day. I open my door and head straight to hers, knocking as I lean against the door jamb waiting for her to open the door. I'm disappointed when she doesn't open it, I knock again and then punch in the code and open it. I call out her name but there's no answer. I enter and walk to the ensuite, knock at the door and again no answer. I move out of her room as panic sets in and run down to the dining hall.
