Chapter 3

Olivia's POV

"Please, don't!" I screamed and opened my eyes. The dazzling lights and pungent disinfectant showed that I was in the hospital, not my new home with Alpha Leo. Everything was not a dream but a real disaster. I was in a Living Hell.

There was no one I knew around me. There was only an old man in a coma because of alcohol poisoning, a crying boy who broke his leg, and nurses who were busy among the patients.

No one looked at me. No one cared about me. No one needed me.

I am all alone. I could only rely on myself.

I held the bed rails with both hands and struggled to sit up from the bed, but the severe pain in my abdomen made me collapse on the bed. Beads of sweat poured out of my pores, dripping from my frowning brows and pale cheeks.

Guess what, I felt dizzy at the same time, things just couldn't be worse.

The wedding dress beside the pillow was like a vicious snake, reminding me of every detail of my nightmare. My eyes began to moisten, but I had to be strong and I couldn't cry.

A surge of strength suddenly surged in my body. I sat up abruptly, pulled out the IV tube on my body, and picked up the wedding dress. My feet stepped on the cold floor, and the coldness from my feet made me shiver, but I looked around and couldn't find my shoes.

"Crap!" I roared in anger and annoyance with a low voice. I decided to leave barefoot.

I lowered my head and stayed low profile, hoping that no one would notice my embarrassment.

I planned to leave quietly, but as soon as I walked to the door, I was stopped by the nurse. She said anxiously: "No! You can't leave now!"

"Thank you for your concern, I'm fine." I felt a warm feeling in my heart. And I tried to put on my sweetest smile in return. The concern of strangers is so generous. And where are my families whom I have given up everything to protect now?

I took a step forward, but the nurse stopped me with her hands. I would not mind spending more time with her if I had time. But I had to go home to clean up the mess and leave the kind nurse now. I smiled and said again: "Don't worry, I can leave by myself, you don't need to help me."

"You need to settle the medical bills before you leave." The nurse grabbed my arm, "Don't think about leaving without paying."

I was stunned for a second, and opened my mouth with embarrassment, "I'm so sorry, my mistake, I will settle it immediately." I habitually touched my pockets, but there was nothing.

I looked down and realized that I was wearing a hospital patient gown. I remembered that I put the money in the lining of the wedding dress, so I had to turn the wedding dress over in a panic. But unfortunately, I still found nothing.

"What's wrong? No money?"

I pursed my lips, blushed, and said in an almost pleading voice: "I'm really sorry, I don't have money now. I am Beta Andrew's daughter in The Silver Moon Pack, and I won't buy on credit. I'm going home now and ask the housekeeper to send the money over, please believe me."

I longed for the nurse to understand my embarrassing situation and trust my family's reputation. But her next words made me feel that I should not say anything, but run away as soon as possible.

The nurse seemed to be amused by something extremely ridiculous and absurd, "Hahaha!!!" the fatty flesh on her face shook with laughter.

She rolled her eyes and said disdainfully: "Who doesn't know you, Luna Olivia, who was rejected at the wedding? Everyone has to pay." Her voice became louder and louder, and the people around stopped what they were doing and cast contemptuous or mocking eyes at me.

My cheeks were burning hot, and I hurriedly pulled off a set of diamond earrings, stuffed them into the nurse, and said: "I will send someone to pay."

Before the voice fell, I pushed her away, walked through the crowd, and ran out of the ward.

I had no money or jewelry, so I could only run barefoot in the snow. After a few steps, I felt my feet go numb. I was wailing in my heart: Why me???

Suddenly, my feet slipped and I fell to the ground. The black muddy water ruined my wedding dress.

I thought: I won’t use it anyway, so I might as well throw it away. Fortunately, my home is only a few miles away from the hospital, so I can do it.

After running for about ten minutes, I finally rang the doorbell of my home.

The housekeeper opened the door.

My parents were having breakfast. My dad threw the plate directly on the ground when he saw me.

I said in panic: "Dad."

He looked up and glared at me. I immediately said: "Beta Andrew."
