Relationship Charade

Eden looked at the beautiful reflection of herself in the mirror. She looked like a Queen. The gown fitted her so well that it looked like it was cut out for her specifically.

“How do I look?” She asked the maids who smiled back. They were impressed as well. She was looking so amazing.

“You look like a Greek goddess” One of them commented, making her smile. Her heart was gladdened. That was exactly what she liked to hear.

“You look like the Alpha that you are. Adorable and exquisite. Lord Lucian is indeed lucky to have you as his woman” Another commented. A saddening smile formed on her face. He was indeed lucky to have her. He wished it was really true. She wished he had her for real.

She nodded and plastered a fake smile on her face. The conversation went on and on and she was gladdened as each maid ad something beautiful to say about her outfit.
