Sebastian “Fated mate?!” Eric roared as they returned to their minds. Sebastian shoved the scepter into his desk drawer, and he could feel his heart pounding against his ribcage. He knew where Hannah was located, and he wanted to go here and get her. But he saw that she was already heading home. It didn’t sound like she believed much of what he said, which was good. But still. Fated mate. Could Henry really be her mate? “Impossible,” Eric growled from within him. “We marked her. She’s, our mate. Whatever mate pull there was between them is long gone. There’s no way in hell it’s possible.” He knew his wolf was right. “Beta Arnold,” he said in a mindlink. “Bring the men back to the palace. Hannah is on her way.” “Okay, returning now.” He ended the mindlink and made his way into the foyer where Raya was clutching at her phone and typing something energetically. “I got her!” She said with a relieved smile.
Hannah’s POV I felt a sense of emptiness when I woke up the next morning and realized Sebastian was gone. His side of the bed looked so big and empty. It filled me with an inner dread. There was so much I wanted to talk to him about, but I could hardly utter a single word yesterday. I couldn’t believe everything I had found out; or everything that was told to me. It wasn’t making sense, but there was a part of me that believed Henry could possibly be my fated mate. He remembered a part of my childhood that I had never told anyone. Not even Sebastian knew of my heroic efforts as a little girl when I saved that boy. Nora was sensing that Henry was, in fact, my mate, but she was wary of the fact that she can sense it in the first place. She shouldn’t be able to sense anything because Sebastian had already marked me. But then something else that Henry mentioned surfaced in my mind and I grew ill thinking about it. Sebastian was just using me and didn’t really lov
Sebastian’s POV What the fuck did she think she was doing?! Sebastian had just enough of Emily and her bullshit. Now she was standing in front of the media and spreading even more lies. Both Sebastian and Emily knew they weren’t mates. Maybe at one point, when they were young, Sebastian would have chosen her as a mate. But they never reached that point before she left him. Once she disappeared, he decided she wasn’t worth it. Even now that she’s returned, he still doesn’t want her as a mate. After everything she’s done since she returned, lying about her illness, lying to Hannah about her pregnancy, being rude and nasty to Hannah for no reason, and framing Hannah for stealing the scepter. Sebastian had no interest in Emily, and he wanted her gone. He thought he made that perfectly clear to her the last time he went to visit her at the hospital. He had told her to stay away from both him and Hannah and that he was done with her. But she returned and was makin
Hannah’s POV I was stunned by what Valerie had just said; she took a step back to join the other servants so they could speak amongst themselves. I stood frozen and stared at them with such disbelief crossing my face. But then there was a part of me that almost believed what she said to be true. It was Amy who was supposed to marry Sebastian in the first place. I was just his replacement bride because she didn’t want to marry him. Maybe if he knew the truth, he wouldn’t love me anymore. There was so much crap happening with all these rumors; it was a waste of Sebastian’s time. I felt a heavy knot in the pit of my stomach. I was causing him so much stress and unhappiness. Maybe leaving was the best thing I could do for him. Maybe Henry was telling me the truth and he really was my fated mate. I could find a way to be happy with Henry and leave Sebastian alone. “You’re speaking nonsense,” Nora scolded. “Sebastian loves us regardless of what happens. You have to
Sebastian A pain shot through his body as he reached his car. Everything started screaming at him and he had to grab onto his door to keep from tumbling over. His head was pounding to a point where he thought he was going to vomit. He managed to pull himself into his car and slam the door shut. He began deep breathing, trying to steady his racing heart and soothe some of the pain in his head. He closed his eyes, feeling even more nauseous than before. Beads of sweat started forming on his forehead, dripping down his features and the nape of his neck. His body trembled uncontrollably as he tried to get a handle on the pain. For a moment, it was almost like the scars under his mask were burning and tearing away at his face. It took everything he had not to rip his mask off for just an ounce of relief. “What the fuck is happening?!” Sebastian growled to his wolf. “….” Eric didn’t answer. “Eric, what the hell?!” Sebastian growled again
Sebastian When Arnold told Sebastian that Hannah was pregnant, he knew he had to rush to the hospital. He couldn’t believe that Hannah would keep something that important from him. It made him wonder whom she had told and why she would keep it from her husband. It always made him think maybe it was because the baby wasn’t his. It wasn’t something he enjoyed thinking about, but he couldn’t help it. The thought surfaced in his mind, and he couldn’t shake it.He stared down at Hannah, who remained in the hospital bed. She was pale, and for someone pregnant, she seemed thin. She looked much sicker than he remembered from earlier. Her body was trembling, and tears were drowning her eyes.“I wanted to tell you…” she whispered; tears escaped her eyes and washed over her features.“When?” Sebastian couldn’t help but scold; he was being fueled by fury. The only thing keeping his wolf calm was Hannah’s scent. Even then, he still had to grip the bed handles to keep himself under control. “Were
Hannah I stared at Sebastian for a long while; he was dumbfounded by my confession. I couldn’t tell what was running through his mind. His eyes were flashing between scarlet and blue; his wolf was itching to come out, but he was holding him back. I didn’t fear him as I should though; I wanted to comfort him. I knew this wasn’t easy for him to hear.“He’s confused,” Nora explained, channeling Sebastian’s wolf. “He marked us, so we shouldn’t feel the mate bond with Henry. It shouldn’t be there anymore.” She had said that in the past too, which is what confused her the most. But for some reason, we still knew that Henry was our fated mate. But I didn’t want Henry. I thought he was my friend at one point, but he did nothing but lie to me. I couldn’t trust him. Sebastian had been right to be wary of him from the beginning.“When did you find this out?” Sebastian asked through gritted teeth.“The night I went to his house,” I answered.“Did you feel it? The mate bond?” He asked, narrowing
Sebastian Sebastian lay awake beside a very sleepy Hannah. She was curled up in the corner of the bed, naked and stained with her own blood. He allowed his wolf to bite into her, claiming her repeatedly. He refused to allow Henry to mark his claim on her and needed to make a point. Her soft moans invaded her mines; she didn’t mind the pain because of the pleasure that arrived shortly after. Just thinking about her naked body wrapped around him made him hard.He tucked a long strand of her hair behind her ear, and she stirred comfortably in her sleep. There was no doubt in his mind that he loved her. He would move the planet for her. He would do anything if it meant keeping her safe. Now he had to think of both Hannah and their daughter.“I need to have her again,” Eric growled within him. “I must have a taste of her.”“Calm down, you horny bastard,” Sebastian snapped to his wolf in return. “If we do that again, by the time we are done with her, there will be nothing left.” “It makes
Hannah I woke up in the hospital. I opened my eyes, adjusting them to the dimmed lighting and seeing Sebastian sitting by my side. He jumped to his feet as soon as I opened my eyes. I thought I would have been in a world of pain, but everything just felt numb.“Try not to move too much,” he says as he fixes my pillow. He grabs a glass of water on my bedside and brings it to my lips. The cold water feels good going down my throat and I smile at him in gratitude. “How are you feeling?”“I’m okay,” I said to him in a hoarse tone. “How’s Wrenley?”His face lights up at the mention of our daughter and I know that means good news.“She’s perfect,” he breathes. “See for yourself.”He goes across the room to a small bassinet and picks up the cooing baby. She’s wrapped in a pink blanket. She’s so small and as he brings her closer. S
HannahAt first, I wanted to deny that my water had just broken in the middle of Raya’s wedding. I really thought I just peed myself. Wren has been sitting on top of my bladder the entire time and I felt the urge to pee for the longest time. But then, the pain hit me suddenly and I nearly fell to the ground. It felt like cramps, but ten times worse. I screamed out as I held onto my stomach. There was no denying it now; I was going into labor.“Someone, call an ambulance!” I heard Dr. Davis say as he jumped to his feet.I felt Nancy’s hands around my arms as she pulls me towards a clearing in the chapel.“I need some room!” She shouts to those who are surrounding us.Everyone scatters to give her some room. Sebastian was quick to be by my side. He was saying something that I couldn’t quite understand. The pain was too much for me and all I could think about at that moment was needing
Hannah 5 months later.I stare at myself in the mirror, and I don’t like what I’m seeing. I’m so round; I wobble like a penguin. My entire back is sore, and my legs hardly hold up my weight. My hair has gone completely flat and lifeless, my complexion is too fair, and I don’t look decent unless I wear a bunch of makeup.I’m wearing a loose-fitting light pink dress with a pair of flats that look like ballet slippers because that’s the only thing that’ll fit my swollen feet.“I’m so fat…” I whine as tears fill my eyes. My hormones were getting the best of me; I don’t remember feeling like this the first time I was pregnant.“You’re not fat,” Sebastian says from behind me, wrapping his arms around me and peering at me through the mirror as well. “You’re pregnant and you’re beautiful.”“I look like an ogre,&r
HannahIt only took me a couple of hours to finish baking the cookies. The kitchen staff seemed utterly surprised that I knew my way around the kitchen. If they thought I was good at making cookies, I couldn’t wait to show them what else I could do.As the luna queen, I promised myself that I would be helping the servants with their daily duties, including meals. I used to cook a lot when I lived in my father’s pack, so I knew how to create a decent meal. As an omega, I’ve always been pretty skilled at baking as well.I gave each of the kitchen servants, including the head chef, a cookie so they can see how they came out.“These are incredible, Luna Queen!” The head chef gasped.I can’t help but smile at their praises as I bundled the rest up on a platter and covered the top of it.“I hope she likes it,” another servant says with a mouthful of cookies. “If not, bring them
Hannah“My mate…” Scott says as he steps further into the palace and toward Caroline. I could hear Caroline’s heart beating so fast that I thought it was going to jump out of her chest. She couldn’t take her eyes away from Scott.Sebastian and I exchanged questioning looks. In the underworld, I had no idea that they were mates. But maybe it was because they couldn’t recognize each other due to Xander’s control. He must have had more control over them than they thought. But that would explain why they became such great friends and why Scott cared about her so deeply while she was in the underworld. Even when he still stayed at the palace and worked for Xander, he seemed to still care for Caroline. Now that I think of it, I’m not sure when or how Scott even ended up in the underworld. But it must have been around this time. Caroline and Scott must have gotten there around the same time for him to be
Sebastian Sebastian slowly stood from his desk; he knew this was going to happen based on their history. But the joy he was feeling in his heart was almost too much for him to handle. He had a large smile that spread across his lips at her announcement. She had a faint smile and tears in her eyes as she pressed the palms of her hands to her stomach. This was the first time she’s ever announced something like this.He ran around his desk and toward her. Scooping her into his arms, he twirled her around. She laughed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed him deeply and he can feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest. He can feel just how happy she is, and he was happy too. They were having a baby. They were finally going to meet their little Wrenley.…Hannah2 months later.A couple of months after I discovered I was pregnant; I was finally showing a baby bump. I haven’t been able to shift into my wolf form because pregnant wolves can’t shift, which makes us weaker tha
HannahSebastian kissed down my naked body as we entangled ourselves in the bed. The rose petals stuck to my sweating skin and tickled the bareness of my back. I breathed in the amazing scent of my mate, feeling completely content and at peace. His fingers traced down the sides of my body and I can’t help but smile as his lips found mine.I loved this man so much and I wanted to show him just how much he meant to me. I deepened the kiss, wrapping my legs firmly around his broad waist, bringing his manhood further inside of me. feeling his length and girth filling me, I gasped at the incredible sensation. It was something I was never going to get used to. The way he makes me feel is surreal. Even more that I know he is my fated mate. Everything about him is just so incredible.I can feel my wolf running laps through my mind’s eyes; she’s eager to be near him and to be touched by him. This is all she’s been wanting for a very long time. He bit onto my bottom lip and drew it into his mou
Sebastian “You are under arrest for the attempted murder of my maid,” Sebastian growled to Magnolia. Magnolia looked furious and fought against the warriors that held her captive. They were placing cuffs around her wrists to keep her powers under control. Her icy blue eyes peered at Sebastian, and she looked as if she wanted to spit in his face.“You are going to resent this day,” she hissed to him. “I promise you; this palace and your crown will be mine.”Sebastian said nothing to her as he watched the gammas take her out of the palace. She was going to be locked away for a very long time if Sebastian had anything to say about it. He shook his head in dismay as he overheard Hannah comforting a very frightened Caroline.Caroline was still on the ground and Hannah had her arms wrapped around her tightly. Both of them seemed to be trembling. After everything that has happened these last few weeks, he knew Hannah has been holding a lot in, and now was the time to relax and allow her fee
Hannah“She could have been under Xander’s control. Now that Xander has no power, neither does Magnolia,” Sebastian tried to tell me, but I was already ripping the IVs out of my arm. “Easy Hannah. You could puncture a vein.”“I’m not taking any chances,” I said in return. “I can’t lose her again, Sebastian.”For a moment, he looked like he wanted to protest against me, but with one look at my stern face, he knew it was better that he didn’t. He sighed and grabbed onto my arms, stopping me from pulling out any more of the IVs.“Let me do it,” he said as he cautiously pulled the IVs out of my arm.He grabbed some bandages that were left on the nightstand and wrapped my arms with the soft cloth, keeping my bleeding at bay.“We still have some time before anything happens at the palace; we need to be smart about this,” Sebastian says as he finishes tying the bandages around my arms. “I won’t be able to do anything unless we catch Magnolia in the act. I can’t just have her arrested based o
