Chapter 8 friends

My wolf also nodded and said the same, I turned back to look at them as I can't keep staring at this nice cute boy.

But when I turned back, my eyes met with that someone that I hate the most, which is none other than that Monster! who killed my entire pack, Alpha king! my eyes widen in shock as I looked at him for a few seconds before moving my eyes from him to the ground. My heart is racing because of the way he was staring at me with his deep blue eyes, his cold expression gave me chills and he seems like he is angry and I don't know why?! what the hell did I even do to make him angry?! I should be the one to get angry! he killed my family and everyone that I love and then, he took me to his palace to be his personal slave. I took a long sigh trying my best to not think about any of these things, it hurts so much to the point that I can't take it.

I tried to forget that, when I heard a manly voice "Elena?", making me raise my head and look at that Alpha king. He is still staring at me but this time, everyone turns to me. What did I even do now? why is he calling my name?

Then he raised his finger and called me like a pet! This is making me angry but I controlled everything and walks to him, as I don't want to get into any trouble. As soon as I was in front of him, he said in his cold voice "don't you know your work?". I was confused as I asked, "your highness, work?". How the hell am I supposed to know if he didn't tell me anything?

"yes, you are my personal slave, and you should stand with me and do everything that I ask you to do?! you are not a maid! understand that! and now, stand next to me" He said in a cold voice and it was so harsh. I was angry but I can't do anything now, I am not a princess anymore and I am only a slave now so, I nodded my head and said, "yes, your highness". I just stood there, staring down at the floor, trying my best to stand still, as my legs are giving up.

"Brother, she looks so pretty!" I heard another manly voice, as I raised my head and saw the Prince, who is staring at me with a huge smile, I smiled back a little as I am afraid of the rules. we never treated anyone like shit, as we never had any slaves in our pack. Everything is different here so the rules must be different and I don't know them. what if I did something that is offending? I just wanted to have a peaceful life.

"Can I take her as my slave? I want her!" Prince Frederick asked while staring at me like I am his doll! my eyes widen in shock. I raised my head to look at him without blinking my eyes, but he then backs to his brother with a huge smile on his face. Then I turned my face and look at this Monster too! Even if I hate him so much, I don't know why! I don't want him to just give me like a toy to his brother!

My heartbeat is pounding in fear, still waiting for him to reject it, as I was shouting inside my head "please tell him NO! Please don't give me away like I am some kind of toy! Please don't do that! please tell him No!".

That Bastard Ashton raised his head and saw me and his perfect lips curved into a small smile and, I was looking at his lips, waiting for that one word 'no', as he said "If you want, then I will get you many beautiful women and she is not pretty".

"But, brother, I really want her, I don't want anyone but her, can you please give her to me," He said again in confusion and shock because Ashton never rejected his beloved brother before.

Prince Frederick looks so cute like a child, who is crying for his favorite toy. "Frederick! behave, I am telling you, I could bring other beautiful slaves for you but her! you can never have her! that's it". I sigh in relaxation, even though I hate him and never wanted to be with him, at least, he is not treating me like a toy.

Author's P O V

Frederick stared at Ashton in shock, never expecting that his brother will reject to give something. He raised his head to look at Elena, who has a smile on her face when he understood something is going on between them, so he turned back to his brother but stayed silent. Not only Prince Frederick but everyone in the room was shocked, as they know that Ashton love his brother so much and never rejected him before, this was the first time. Everyone is staring at both Elena and Ashton in shock, but only the General didn't react as he knows everything.

"What is happening here? why did His highness react like that? It seems like you know something?!" Mrs. Edith, General's wife or mate, whispered in General's ear.

"yes, she is the princess of the moonlight pack, she is here as His highness's personal slave" the General whispered back, without letting anyone know, as everyone is busy staring at Elena and Ashton.

Mrs. Edith's eyes widen in shock, she turned to look at her husband and asked: "re... really? but what is she doing here? didn't his highness hate thier pack so much that he doesn't want anything to do with them!".

"yes, he hates them but... she... she is his mate!" General whispers, as he still can't believe this happened. 

"What?!" Mrs. Edith shouted in shock, getting everyone's attention. Mrs. Edith covered her mouth and turn to look around everyone and forced a smile, as she said "I... my husband just said something, don't worry about that, I am fine". 

They just nodded thier head and went back to doing thier work, while she turn to her husband and asked "what the hell?! how did that even happen? and why is his highness calling her his slave rather than his mate?". 

"I don't know, He is the only person who knows, what he is thinking," General said with a sigh, and continued his breakfast, while Mrs. Edith stared at Elena for a few seconds and went back to continue her breakfast. 

After 30 minutes. 

Elena was given a loaf of bread without any side dish, she didn't have any option but to have it as she is already so hungry. when the cute guy she saw earlier approached her, asking "hello, I am Andre, you are?",

"I am Elena," She said, raising her head and looking at him with a smile. "can I ask you something?" He asked with a small smile. She nodded her head in confusion, still staring at him.

"How did you become, His highness Slave?" He asked in curiousness. Her body froze and yesterday's incident started to fellow inside her head, her eyes turned teary. Andre was confused seeing her expression, but soon he started to panic seeing her state, so he took the bread from her hand and placed that on the plate next to them, and started to stroke her back, claiming her down. 

"Elena, everything is fine, didn't you tell me that you are going to fight through this, don't worry, everything is going to be fine" Emily, her wolf tried to calm her down, and finally, after a few minutes she clams down. 

Then she raised her head to look at Andre, who is trying to help her, and after seeing her smiling at him, assuring that she is fine. He let go of her and moves back a little and asked worried "are you ok? what happened? did I ask something that I shouldn't?". 

Elena took a long sigh and nodded her head and said "everyone has thier own tragedy and I am not ready to open up to that". Andre understood her as he nodded his head and said "I can understand, you don't have to tell anything, and can we be friends?". 

Elena smiled and nodded her head with a smile "yes, I love to be your friend".  Both of them were talking and smiling at each other without knowing that Ashton is standing there and watching them, his hand is clinched and he looks extremely angry seeing thier closeness and yes, he is jealous. 

He was above to walk to them, but stopped when he heard "your highness, everyone is waiting for you in the meeting room". Ashton took a long sigh, controlling his anger, and whispered in his dark angry voice "coming". then he walks away from there, promising himself that he will take care of them.
