Chapter 86 – Reconsiderations

“Luna here has healing abilities. Tyler’s good now. Right, Luna?” Sab asked the younger woman but her expression was not one of relief.

“Physically, yes.”

When she said it like that, the adults in the room all understood. Layla didn’t get what she meant.

Tyler reached for his face and felt the scars. His expression darkened. For him to be able to touch them, they must be really prominent. His hand moved down to his chest, which was still bandaged. He could see scratches and some indentations. He wasn’t able to heal those?

“They injected me with something.” He recalled, trying to remember what the bastards said.

“They did. Our men found the syringe and we’ve been studying your blood. We have observed plenty of anomalies.” One of the doctors stepped forward to explain.

“What’s going to happen to me?” His eyes suddenly caught sight of Layla and he immediately felt ashamed. He’s not sure what his face looks like now. Just like any youngster, he prides himself of his handsome appearance.
